Pollo en salsa / Chicken in sauce.
(Acostumbro a mantenerlos picados y refrigerados).

Something that as Venezuelans we have learned is to do magic in the kitchen with few ingredients, either because we do not have variety or we do not have the money to buy them, and then we have to use what we have in the fridge.
So there we have to use the essentials, so today I share an alternative way of preparing chicken in sauce, with simple ingredients that we have at home.
INGREDIENTS:
6 pieces of chicken.
1 liter of water.
5 tablespoons of dressings, in this case it had chives, garlic joint and Spanish celery. (I use to keep them chopped and refrigerated).
3 tablespoons of pasta or tomato sauce.
1 teaspoon garlic.
1/2 teaspoon salt.
Oregano to taste
5 tablespoons of oil.
PREPARATION:
In a frying pan, boil the chicken with 1/2 liter of water, add the garlic, oregano and salt. Let the chicken cook well. Add water, if necessary, but from a cup so as not to make it so liquid.
Separately, fry the seasonings with oil and add the sauce or tomato paste. Let odors and color shrink and compact.
Then add to the chicken and let it thicken.
And this is the result.
