Few things:
24% APR is perfectly sustainable for a while, At first, the APR was an 18% paid in AVA for 4-5 months if I remember correctly. Then decided to lower it to a 12% and after studying the market and doing a few projections they decided to double it and give travel credits. The position from the team in that sense is that they made the change also thinking about long term sustainability. So From my side I expect at least 1-2 years of these rates.
Travala wallet is designed for the Smart. You can hold more AVA, yes, but if possible I recommend to store all the excess up from 5K in a separate cold wallet.

Glad to see lots of members around joining the #AVAForce. I'm working on one of their support channels so If you have any doubt don't hesitate to ask. I'm also a long term holder of AVA (since January 2019 approx) and I've seen all the progression of the project. Ask if required!
