Mi mamá desde que era una adolescente, siempre me ha dicho esta frase: hija, que nada ni nadie te quite tus sueños; y es algo que desde entonces siempre he tenido muy presente.

My mother, since she was a teenager, has always told me this phrase: daughter, let nothing and no one take away your dreams; and it is something that since then I have always had in mind.

Creo que a pesar de cualquier circutancia que se nos presente en la vida, debemos tratar de salir adelante. Pero no tanto por otras personas, sino por nosotros mismos.

Les pondré un ejemplo, muchas veces vivímos; o mejor dicho, creemos vivir por otras personas, que nuestra razón de ser y de existir es alguien más. Ya sea tú máma, papá, algún hermano o familiar, e incluso tú pareja. Y si esta persona en algún moento nos falta, creemos que no podemos seguir adelante sin ellos.

Aunque es bien ciero que el amor que podamos llegar sentir por nuestros seres queridos es muy grande. Aprender a vivir por nosotros mismos y no por ellos, pienso que es algo ensencial.

Nada ni nadie es para siempre, y no todos estarán para toda la vida con nosotros, ya que las cosas se acaban en algún momento, cueste aceptarlo o no, pero es así. Así que vivir por nostros mismos es lo mejor que podemos hacer. Quiero trabajar por mí, quiero estudiar por mí, quiero luchar y salir adelante por mí mismo, porque se que puedo y porque absolutamente nadie va alejarme de mis sueños.

Nothing and nobody is forever, and not everyone will be with us for life, since things end at some point, whether it is hard to accept it or not, but it is like that. So living for ourselves is the best we can do. I want to work for myself, I want to study for myself, I want to fight and get ahead for myself, because I know I can and because absolutely no one is going to take me away from my dreams.

Tener presente estas palabras es sumamente importante, porque el día que alguien nos falte, nos va doler mucho, sí, es cierto; pero estemos conscientes de que no nos moriremos por eso, ni dejaremos de seguir adelante, y luchar por cumplir nuestros sueños.

Keeping these words in mind is extremely important, because the day that someone is missing from us, it will hurt a lot, yes, it is true; but we are aware that we will not die for it, nor will we stop moving forward, and fighting to fulfill our dreams.
