El día Viernes tuve mi cuarta guardia en el ambulatorio Miguel Franco de Naguanagua. Un día bastante atareado, con una afluencia de pacientes enorme. Pero la verdad es que fue muy divertido, comí pizza, galletas, chocolate, torta y demás. Una guardia donde descubrí, que la mejor forma de engordar y compartir es estando dentro de un ambulatorio, con tus compañeros, ,Médicos, enfermeras, estudiantes y todo el personal de salud.

On Friday I had my fourth shift at the Miguel Franco de Naguanagua clinic. Quite a busy day, with a huge influx of patients. But the truth is that it was a lot of fun, I had pizza, cookies, chocolate, cake and more. A guard where I discovered that the best way to gain weight and share is being inside an outpatient clinic, with your colleagues, Doctors, nurses, students and all health personnel.

Lo más curioso de este día, no fue la guardia en sí, sino la post guardia, ya que al terminar, nos fuimos a la playa. Tenía demasiado tiempo sin ir, casi dos años; cosa que es bastante curioso también, ya que amo la playa, pero no suelo ir con mucha frecuencia. El motivo de este viaje fue celebrar el Cumpleaños de una e mis mejores amigas. ¿ Nuestro destino? Tucacas.

The most curious thing about this day was not the guard itself, but the post guard, since at the end, we went to the beach. He hadn't been there for too long, almost two years; Which is quite curious too, since I love the beach, but I don't go very often. The reason for this trip was to celebrate the birthday of one of my best friends.

Algo bastante gracioso (aunque en su momento no lo fue) de este viaje, fue que en punto pensé en no ir; debido a que lo planeado era que mi mamá me llevara todas mis cosas al ambulatorio, coa que sí hizo, pero se le olvidaron algunas, entre esas mi traje de baño. Afortunadamente todo se pudo resolver, y sí fui.

Something quite funny (although at the time it was not) about this trip, was that at the point I thought not to go; Because it was planned for my mother to take all my things to the clinic, which she did, but she forgot some, including my bathing suit. Fortunately, everything could be resolved, and I did.

Creo que una de las cosas más bonitas de este pequeño viaje, fue terminar en Puerto Cabello. Un lugar muy especial para mí, y que le tengo muchísimo cariño. Pasé alrededor de un año en este lugar, viajando todos los días desde Valencia, aquí hice mi primer año como Interna de Pregrado, en el mejor hospital, el Seguro Social Molina Sierra.

I think one of the most beautiful things about this little trip was to finish in Puerto Cabello. A very special place for me, and that I have a lot of affection for it. I spent about a year in this place, traveling every day from Valencia, here I did my first year as an Undergraduate Intern, in the best hospital, the Molina Sierra Social Security.

Me sentí bastante nostálgica al regresar al Malecón, lugar donde solía venir con bastante frecuencia luego de salir del Hospital, recordar cada momento, cada uno de mis amigos, compañeros y doctores que me acompañaron en esa etapa tan bonita de mi vida. Una vez escuché, que siempre volvemos a los lugares en donde se amó la vida. En este caso, se hizo realidad.

I felt quite nostalgic when I returned to the Malecón, a place where I used to come quite often after leaving the Hospital, remembering every moment, each of my friends, colleagues and doctors who accompanied me in that beautiful stage of my life. I once heard that we always go back to the places where life was loved. In this case, it came true.
