Hello friends, my gracious greetings to us all, I know @homeedders provided a platform that encourage parents and guardian to home groom their kids and wards which to me I think as a part of the after school routine to keep our kids engaged and guide them through learning processes and procedures
The success o of your child’s academic performance is largely dependent on some very crucial factors such as quality teachers, availability of quality resources like textbook notebooks, creative toys and the quality of the programs or curriculum in your child’s school, but the most important of it all is your 100% involvement in their academic pursuit
To this effect recently some very crucial important issue came up and am like okay? We all need to know more about this and reminds ourselves that we have great role to play in shaping the future of our kids, because the genesis of this kids are very important, cause whatever you do as a parent now as a long way to go in the making of that child
I personally has given this a lot of thoughts, at some point I figure out investing into a child’s education like a long term investment off course it is, and you have to be intentional about it, providing your kids with quality education for a start is actually one of the best decision you can make, in fact this is one of the great heads start you need to provide for your kids if you really intend a bright future for them as they grow up
Study has it that kids that do well academically later in life has a good educational upbringing, such as a good math teacher, quantitative reasoning, English, verbal reasoning friendly and loving teachers , most times you are not really aware of what’s going on with the teachers and studies, this i've observed with some course mate of mine and some other brilliant kids, some that are very good with numbers ad figures, fluent speaking and fast reasoning all attribute to very good teachers they had back then in school, but that’s not all the role of teachers in educating your child is just around 60-65% you have to put in work in bringing that figure to 100% research also shows that a child’s academic success is twice as predictive what parent are involved
Of a recent i noticed my neighbor has so much being with her kids, this lady spends 3-4 hours everyday with her kids immediately the return from school she does it so well that the habit has now become part of them immediately there are back they eat rest, and straight to their books
HERE ARE SOME GREAT TIPS GIVING YOUR CHILD A QUALITY EDUCATION FOR A START
**CREATE A ROUTINE AND STICK TO IT: Time is of a necessity factor and most times as parent we don’t have this in abundance, if you re interested in your child having a quality academically future you need to create a time and a routine to always be available to them and stick to it, your involvement in their educational pursuit alone gives them a sense of your taking them seriously
SET HIGH EXPECTATION: setting high expectation for your kids does not mean demanding too much of them or mounting pressure on them, this alone can cause them to vent off get tired and lost attitude completely, set high expectation will mean you encouraging and motivating them to always reach out for more,
REDUCE ANXIETY: pushing them to go beyond where they are, but be careful not t go beyond limit don’t push them too hard, study and understand your child’s limit and play along let know you are with them on the track try to offer them incentive, gift, and great words when they do well, try giving them time off to play and free up a little
CREATE A STUDY TIME WITH THEM: Spending quality time with your kids during their study time as proven to be healthy in enhancing academic excellence in children, not just home work hours but finding that time to go through their days work in school to know were they might have difficulty According to the U.S. Department of Education, the single most important do to boost your child’s academic achievement is to read to them and with them. Children acquire the ability for literacy long before they ever learn to read, so establishing a routine of reading to your child early is vitally important. Experts recommend that parents should read to children 30 minutes per day from infancy through childhood. Once children acquire the ability to read, this time should be split more evenly between parent and child reading. Children develop the majority of their capacity for learning before the age of three, so reading to your child early and often can facilitate the development of their learning potential.source
KEEP IN TOUCH WITH TEACHERS: maintaining an open line of communication with your children teachers can also prove to be healthy, create a cordial relationship with them, so you get to know how they best relate with your kids, attend pta’s meeting and familiarize yourself with the school and your kids teachers so they can be that free flow of information between this teachers and you

I have come across some parent abusing their children and flogging them for failing a test or an exams or a class assignment, one thing they fail to realize is that the success of this kids also is dependent on them, some of the very brilliant minds you see around is primarily because the parent spend time with their kids, knowing what they will likely produce with the level of information they have, school teachers might have a whole lot to do with number of kids with them so they might not really spend much time attending to a particular child, but it is to the place of the parent to always ensure that the child fully understand what exactly has been taught in school each day, the academic success of a child largely depends on parent-teacher collaboration.
