BUILD VALUE WHILE YOU WAIT: The True Essence of SELF Improvement
Hello friends it’s been a while c’mon I miss ya all just around the neighborhood and decided to stop by….
@selfimprovement is particularly my kind of community because I’m one person that is always seeking out ways and means to always go up I just hate rotating around one spot, and I’m pretty sure that what you had in mind when you found out about the community, to meet persons of like minds to engage share and grow together
And so this caught my attention and I felt indebted to share my piece of mind,
On this faithful day I was just on a hike, at one point I paused and observe all the people around me walking past to and fro, while others are up and busy with one thing or the other, that’s when the issue of value dawn on me
It is one thing that we would never do without whether consciously or unconsciously everything we do in live is tied around it, I would be improper to define value cause from our childhood days we realize that when you want to buy…. something you need .money And that thing can only be sold to you when you have the right amount that is able to buy it, there and then you realize the worth or value of that thing is the amount that can buy it
In today’s world competence and highly skilled individuals are in high demand because of what they can offer and solutions they can proffer to solve issues at at hand
One day I was watching a commercial and the thing there was stop chasing money but rather chase problems look for issues and think of ways to solve them, seat back and watch money chase you,…that’s value
Wait a minute chase problems?, who even wants to do that, instead of running away from problems, confusion wants and lack instead change that order, yes cause that's exactly how people are going to find you, they come looking for you cause you're now relevant to ease them of their problems. Then when that is done? You can raise the bar cause human will pay anything do anything to get reed of issues that make them uncomfortable.
We Often realize that staffs in companies are not paid the same salary or wages, they are paid base on level of education, competence, areas of specialize skills, they re hired to do a particular job for the company which should in turn boost the company’s profit maximization and share holders earnings,
In other to stay in high demand and relevant in our current today’s society one must at least acquire a skill that calls him out, it’s okay to be educated But then apart from the white-collar job that is now in short supply in our economy unemployment on the rise one must have a skill to stay survive
This the very reason why I will tell anyone to build Value which is the true essence of SELF improvement because one can never improvement when there is no place for building values and ever increasing learning
Everyday do something better, learn something new, read a book, watch videos surf the web, read on, add value everyday build self, improve advance, scale up it’s the only way to stay relevant and grow
