Oh hey. This is my first post.
My heart is happy cuz I'm on Hive Blockchain!
Over the years I've left behind remnants of films, songs, imagery and ritual on the social streams, and to be honest I often feel as if i'm placing pearls inside of a dumpster fire by sharing my hard won beauty on mainstream platforms.
It's been so many years.
Sometimes I feel young at age 37, sometimes I feel old. Depends on how I choose to perceive my life but yeah it's been a hot minute.
And I wonder. Is this working anymore?
There's a lot I still don't know about all this, but from what I do know I know that I'm really stoked.
I'm on Hive! Finally!
And as I write my heart feels excited because I've been posting on social streams since AOL. I've been crafting a profile since Myspace.
My bleeding heart diatribes have been watched by the government on FB since I was a wee witch.
And my booty has been on Insta a handful of times. Cuz ya know. It's a sign of the times.
I never f*d with Twitter. Don't know why.
But yeah. It's the Wild West out here. I'm just a cowgirl looking for a quality place to express herself. Actually I'm not a cowgirl at all is the thing.
I'm decolonizing my mind.
But I am an e-girl.
And i have a lot of radical thoughts. I'm a wandering minstrelless with a crapton of words lookin' for a few coins to change the world with.
Hive feels like a good place for all that.
I need a place where I can offer my gems and collect some. I'm looking for quality folks doing dope shit on the daily.
So it's a blessing to be on Hive.
I feel it in my body. Like YES. My he*artworks belong here.

Natural Medicine - closest thing to an active witchy community that we have at the moment, but there is also a Pagan community where you might find a bit of witchiness still lurking about.
Also, as Hive can sometimes be quite confusing, the newly launched Newbies Guide should be helpful to you, as it is a growing repository of useful and easy to understand posts about how the Hive ecosystem works. For instance, there's a post in the collection called 3 things Newbies should do in their first week on Hive that you might find helpful.
Please be aware that Hive is a bit different from other social media platforms since you are monetizing your blog, so it is important not to include content that you don't own without sources (and it shouldn't exceed 50% of the post). Pro Tip: It can be ridiculously hard to gain traction and get eyes on your work here. More flowers than pollinators, it seems. So it can take time but every minute adds up. It helps a lot to buzz around people's heads. That way they know you exist. No magical mystical robots guiding minds to our work. With so much freedom, one must do it themselves.
We each have our own internal navigator, but are connected to one mind it seems. I'm all about the quality over the quantity, and authentic expression over contrived stategic obsession.

Be sure to write down your keys and keep them somewhere safe. Here is another writer's overview of which keys do what. Beware of scammers who promise quick riches or mystery airdrops, and don't enter your keys anywhere carelessly.
The HIVE community tends to be welcoming, but rewards may drop off after your introduction. Persevere! The path to success is not always fast and easy. Avoid plagiarism and spam in your posts. You'll make progress in due time. Here's a great post from another blogger with some helpful advice, too.
