Un rato familiar [Esp/Eng]

Hoy quería compartir con ustedes un ratito agradable que pasé, luego de mi graduación con mi familia. Como a nosotros nos gusta comer mucha pizza y estábamos supercerca de mamá, mía, así que fuimos un rato. Todos a mí siempre me han dado el lugar; lo único que nunca me termina de dar son las pizzas. Porque resulta que a veces salen buenas, a veces nacen malas y ese día que era tan especial para mí les salieron horribles. Estaban todas superquemadas, de verdad, que no valían la pena; eso es como que es raro porque hay veces que tú vas y las hacen divinas, como hay otras veces que no. La verdad, me fui un poco molesta, porque casi que no nos las pudimos comer…

Today I wanted to share with you a lovely little moment I had with my family after my graduation. As we all love eating loads of pizza and we were right near my mum’s place, we popped round for a bit. Everyone’s always been so kind to me; the only thing they never quite get right is the pizza. Because it turns out that sometimes it’s good, sometimes it’s rubbish, and on that day—which was so special to me—it turned out absolutely awful. They were all burnt to a crisp, honestly, they weren’t worth eating; that’s a bit odd because sometimes you go and they make them absolutely divine, whilst other times they don’t. To be honest, I left feeling a bit annoyed, because we could hardly eat any of them…

yo no quería que eso fuera a dañar mi momento de graduación así que tampoco le di mucha prioridad eso pero el momento sí fue bastante desagradable al ver que todas las pizzas estaban así pero también quería comentarles que hubo algo muy bueno en todo eso saben que yo le comenté que mi amigo Josmag vive en San Félix y yo vivo en la isla de Margarita, y me sorprendió muchísimo que llegó el día de mi graduación a sorprenderme y solo viajó para Margarita, por eso fue un momento que me hizo hasta llorar por eso él salen todas mis fotos de graduación, incluso en este momento especial, la verdad que con ese es gesto me confirmó que la amistad verdadera sí existe

I didn’t want that to spoil my graduation day, so I didn’t make a big deal of it either, but it was still quite unpleasant to see that all the pizzas were like that. But I also wanted to tell you that there was something really nice about the whole thing. You know I mentioned that my friend Josmag lives in San Félix and I live on Margarita Island, and I was absolutely amazed that on the day of my graduation he turned up to surprise me and had travelled all the way to Margarita just for that. That’s why it was a moment that even brought me to tears, which is why he’s in all my graduation photos, including this special one. To be honest, that gesture confirmed to me that true friendship really does exist.
