El día de hoy quería compartir una presentación superbonita que tuvo mi sobrina hace unos días atrás, la cual no había podido compartir con ustedes. Esta se llevó a cabo en el Omar Carreño, específicamente en La Asunción; es un teatro bastante amplio y muy bonito. A mí me gusta muchísimo, de hecho, ir para allá cuando me entregué; era ahí de verdad que ya quería ir porque ahí es mucho arte, aparte del teatro como tal que era donde se iba a presentar mi sobrina.

La otra cosa que también me gustó muchísimo era el baile como Michael Jackson, y a mí me gusta mucho ese bailarín, y no solamente eso, también cantante, pero más que todo me gusta por sus bailes; por eso digo que bailarín. Y qué casualidad, que hace unos días, cuando fui a la fiesta del Día del Trabajador en mi trabajo, nos regalaron unos sombreros muy parecidos a los de Michael Jackson y yo los doné a la danza y sirvieron a la perfección.

Today I wanted to share a really lovely performance that my niece gave a few days ago, which I hadn’t had a chance to share with you all. It took place at the Omar Carreño Theatre, specifically in La Asunción; it’s quite a spacious and very beautiful theatre. I actually really love going there; in fact, I was keen to go when I first started out. I really wanted to go there because there’s so much art there, apart from the theatre itself, which was where my niece was going to perform.

Another thing I really loved was the Michael Jackson-style dancing; I’m a huge fan of that dancer – and not just that, he’s a great singer too – but I love him most of all for his dancing; that’s why I call him a dancer. And what a coincidence – a few days ago, when I went to the Labour Day party at my workplace, they gave us some hats very similar to Michael Jackson’s, and I donated them to the dance group, and they were just perfect.

Fue una presentación que a mí me gustó muchísimo porque de verdad que los niños se veían bastante bonitos y había danzas de todo tipo, pero más que todo se centraba en el baile desde la época retro y todos estaban superlindos; la verdad es que a mí me hubiera gustado mucho nacer en esa época.

De Michelle Jackson bailaron tanto mi sobrina, bueno, la danza donde está mi sobrina, como otro grupo más, pero el otro grupo era de adultos y también me gustó bastante cómo lo personalizaron, cada uno poniendo siempre su toque especial, pero la verdad es que a mí me gustó muchísimo cómo se veía mi sobrina y aproveché para tomarle muchas fotos en los murales de la Asunción para compartirlas con ustedes. It was a performance that I really enjoyed because the children really did look lovely and there were all sorts of dances, but it focused mainly on retro-style dancing and they all looked absolutely gorgeous; to be honest, I would have loved to have been born in that era.

My niece danced to Michael Jackson – well, in the dance where my niece is featured – as did another group, but that other group was made up of adults, and I also really liked how they personalised it, with each person adding their own special touch. But honestly, I absolutely loved how my niece looked, and I took the opportunity to snap loads of photos of her in front of the murals at La Asunción to share them with you all. Best wishes.
