Paseo en familia [Esp/Eng]

Hola, ¿qué tal, amigos, cómo están? Por aquí todo muy bien, gracias a Dios. Espero que por allá también, aprovechando de descansar mis vacaciones, porque por fin comenzaron mis vacaciones de la universidad, así que toca aprovechar este tiempo libre.

Hi, how’s it going, mates? How are you all? Everything’s going really well here, thank God. I hope it’s the same over there too. I’m making the most of my holidays – my university holidays have finally started, so it’s time to make the most of this free time.

Quería compartir con ustedes un bonito día de fin de semana con mi pequeña familia, como le digo yo, que es mi novio, mi persona y mi perrita. Ese día decidimos salir un poco de la rutina y salir un rato a dar una vuelta por los centros comerciales. A mí siempre me gusta ir a La Vela porque, actualmente, en la isla de Margarita es el centro comercial que tiene más cosas donde uno puede distraerse, incluso ahorita. Me pierdo tanto en ese centro comercial por la grandeza que tiene. Y me gustó mucho ver que hay muchísimas tiendas súper nuevas. De hecho, abrieron una nueva tienda Salomé, la cual es una marca de maquillaje que a mí me gusta muchísimo, y me dio mucha rabia, porque yo no sabía, y yo fui el viernes pasado y en la tienda la abrieron un día después de haber ido. Sentí mucha rabia, pero bueno, ya qué tanto ir otro día.

I wanted to share with you a lovely weekend day spent with my little family, as I call them – my boyfriend, my partner and my little dog. That day, we decided to break out of our routine a bit and pop out for a while to have a wander round the shopping centres. I always love going to La Vela because, at the moment, it’s the shopping centre on Margarita Island with the most to keep you entertained, even right now. I get completely lost in that shopping centre because it’s so huge. And I really liked seeing that there are loads of brand-new shops. In fact, they’ve opened a new Salomé shop – it’s a make-up brand I really love – and I was so annoyed because I didn’t know about it; I went last Friday and the shop had opened just one day after I’d been there. I was really annoyed, but oh well, I’ll just have to go another day.

También conocimos un nueva feria de comida la cual está al aire libre en la vela y quisimos ir al bowling que también tiene pero solo lo vimos de afuera porque no supimos cómo llegar imagínense entre lo grande del lugar no supimos qué escaleras tomar para llegar hacia el bowling, y cómo siempre nosotros recorriendo el lugar para ver qué tiendas nuevas estaban y nos dimos cuenta que para el ala nueva por donde está el cine, hay muchísimas más cosas donde uno puede ir y distraerse un rato, por eso es que siempre elejo ese centro comercial porque es tan, grande, que tiene de todas las cosas que puedas necesitar, aunque la verdad no cambiar Sambil, porque también me gusta muchísimo y entre tantas cosas de nuestro recorrido me gustó muchísimo el día porque fue algo diferente y me relajó de toda la carga que tenía de la universidad.

We also discovered a new food court, which is an open-air one in La Vela, and we wanted to go to the bowling alley they have there too, but we only saw it from the outside because we didn’t know how to get there – imagine, given how huge the place is, we didn’t know which stairs to take to get to the bowling alley. And, as always, we were wandering around the place to see what new shops there were, and we realised that in the new wing where the cinema is, there are loads more places where you can go and have a bit of fun. That’s why I always choose that shopping centre – it’s so big that it has everything you could possibly need. Although, to be honest, I wouldn’t swap Sambil for anything, because I really love that one too. Out of all the things we did on our trip, I really enjoyed the day because it was a bit different and it helped me unwind from all the stress I’d been feeling at university.
