Graduación de mi sobrino Davian [Esp/Eng]

Hola hola cómo están por aquí todo muy bien gracias adiós en el tema de salud pero la verdad es que hoy día fue bastante turbio en el trabajo es decir esto va a ser una semana bastante fuerte pero aquí vamos con la mejor energía positiva si es posible.

Hi, hi, how are things over there? Everything’s going really well, thanks. As for my health, it’s not great, but to be honest, today’s been quite a tough day at work; I mean, it’s going to be a pretty tough week, but we’re going to tackle it with as much positive energy as we can muster.

Saben que yo pensaba que les había compartido un momento súper especial que la verdad es que no mi sobrino se graduó de la escuela el día jueves de la semana pasada y para él era que yo estaba haciendo el birrete que les compartí en estos días, ya que yo quería que él también lo tuviera como lo tuvo a mi sobrina y a pesar de que fue un birrete de un día para otro quedó súper chévere y mi sobrino él estaba muy emocionado porque le agradaba muchísimo la idea de ir hasta el liceo y ya gracia a Dios este año se le cumplió su patición pasa de camisa blanca a camisa con muchas más responsabilidades.

You know, I thought I’d shared a really special moment with you all – the truth is, my nephew graduated from school last Thursday, and as far as he was concerned, I was making the graduation cap that I’ve been showing you over the last few days, as I wanted him to have one just like my niece did. And even though I made it overnight, it turned out really cool, and my nephew was really excited because he loved the idea of going to secondary school. And, thank God, this year his dream has come true – he’s moved on from wearing a white shirt to taking on much more responsibility.

De mi parte estuve un poco sentimental ese día ya que no me dejaron ir a la graduación en mi trabajo no me dieron el permiso pues y está bastante sentimental porque mi sobrino se ha criado con nosotros y ha sido como un hijo para nosotros porque lo hemos visto desde muy chiquito y justamente revisando las fotos conseguí una foto donde él pasaba para primer grado Y me dio muchísima más nostalgia pero sé que él estaba feliz por este gran paso. Tanto fue la nostalgia que yo en el momento se me salieron las lágrimas al ver cómo había crecido y los cambios que dio durante todo ese trayecto pero a la vez estaba bastante feliz por verlo cumplir una de sus metas y desearle todo el bien a futuro

For my part, I was feeling a bit sentimental that day, as they didn’t let me go to the graduation – my work wouldn’t give me time off – and I’m feeling quite emotional because my nephew has grown up with us and has been like a son to us, as we’ve known him since he was very little. And, whilst looking through the photos, I came across one of him starting Year 1, which made me feel even more nostalgic, but I know he was happy about this big step. I felt so nostalgic that, at that moment, tears welled up in my eyes as I saw how much he’d grown and the changes he’d gone through along the way; but at the same time, I was really happy to see him achieve one of his goals and I wished him all the best for the future.
