Yes, but, in any case, applicants must, periodically, visit the country where they study full-time or online. That's a big risk, in my opinion.

Why is that a big risk? And no one is asking anyone to send their children to Mexico or any other place. But I don't really see why it would be a risk. I'd like to hear your reasoning for this. :)

Well, first of all, it will most likely require high school graduation documents and these are not photocopies. Send originals, not at this time, I will not trust any postal service. Then, picking up original documents is also a problem, flights are always a risk, perhaps the news exaggerates the criminal atmosphere of Mexico, but that stops.

Yeah, postal services can't really be trusted anywhere.
If I would have anything important sent to me, or have
to send it elsewhere, the only service that can be trusted
is DHL lol. Funnily because in Europe they're the worst...

Flights are always a risk... Yes, but so are car and train rides.
If I'd let that stop me from traveling, I'd never go anywhere.

And yes, the media definitely over-exaggerates the criminal aspect
of many places outside of the US...
I've been to lots of places in the world, and lived in many too.
And the only place where I've ever felt unsafe was in certain places in the US,
and some parts of Europe maybe. There are unsafe places everywhere.

This is not the case. I have shared 5 different study opportunities, for the first and second one, you cannot take these classes unless you live in Mexico, that's stated above.

The three left (Khan Academy, Aprende.org, and Free Code Camp) are entirely online, and do not require you or anyone to come anywhere.

You know? The main idea behind sharing this, is for people that might have not found an opportunity to receive formal education beyond high school. Obviously, you and your kids are not the ppl for which this article is written. So you may as well omit it.

Also, I think you have a big prejudice regarding Mexico. I understand it, really do! However, it is not as seen on Tv shows, it is a culture rich place with awesome people in it. I will share a YouTube Video of VP, a professional trader, who has decided to move in, and shares his motivations behind it, and how this experience has been for him. If you have a few spare minutes, you will find it here.

Last but not least, if you ever decide to try it out, and dare to come here, you can count on me to show you around, as well as being your translator (:

Best regards @barski and much !LUV

I am sure that for the people of Mexico this is a huge and generous gift, but for everyone else, I doubt it. Although, I will check the programmer courses from this list and find out all the requirements with paperwork. If the question is limited to only an electronic version of a document without face-to-face meetings, it will be necessary to think about it.

I strongly recommend you check out on Free Code Camp. You only need to register, and you will find everything you'll need to get your first job as a developer. Lots of +300 hours courses, and you won't need KYC (as I see this is something that bothers you, FCC will be then the best choice.)

This gift is great not only for people from Mexico, but for everyone else too (:

Be safe,
