Greetings colleagues and art enthusiasts. My name is Elvis Sanchez and today I am delighted to welcome you to my gallery where I display my collection of realistic drawings. I hope you enjoy my art.

Like every day I am creating a portrait or illustration, and today I allow myself to share with you a drawing or portrait of an animal that is very loved by people and it is a Cat. Drawing that has been made for practice on animals, using a 2B graphite pencil.

As with any artistic skill, practice is essential to improve. It is important to know the technique, have inspiration and creativity, and above all have fun when drawing, take advantage of the available resources to continue improving. Although drawing realistic faces requires precision and technique, it is also important to let your imagination and creativity fly to create unique and original characters.

Don't be afraid or discouraged if your first attempts aren't perfect. With time and consistent practice, you will see significant improvements in your drawing skills and experimenting with different techniques and styles. This will help you discover new ways to express yourself and develop your own unique style.

To create this drawing, a small size white cardboard and the use of a 2B graphite pencil were used. The face of the feline began to be created, such as its look, nose, mouth, ears and hair.

Now we continue with the details of the cat's fur and applying a very soft layer of graphite as if caressing the paper, and then with the help of a small soft bristle brush expanding the graphite and thus creating a smooth surface, and with an eraser leaving some small details revealing the different tones for the lights and shadows.

Then for the darker shadows and to give it depth we will use the same 2B pencil, but using a little more pressure on the paper, but keep in mind that you must have a firm but light hand to carefully mix and blend the drawing to obtain a uniform and realistic finish.

Finally, with an eraser we continue creating some lights, as well as some parts of its fur to give a touch of realism to the drawing.

Como todos los dias estoy creando algún retrato o ilustración, y hoy me permito compartir con ustedes un dibujo o retrato de un animal muy querido entre las personas y se trata de un Gato. Dibujo que ha sido realizada para la practica en animales, utilizando un lápiz de grafito 2B.

Como en cualquier habilidad artística, la práctica es esencial para mejorar. Es importante conocer la técnica, tener inspiración y creatividad, y sobre todo divertirse a la hora de dibujar, aprovechar los recursos disponibles para seguir mejorando. Aunque el dibujo de rostros realistas requiere de precisión y técnica, también es importante dejar volar la imaginación y la creatividad para crear personajes únicos y originales.

No tengas miedo ni te desanimes si tus primeros intentos no son perfectos. Con el tiempo y la práctica constante, verás mejoras significativas en tus habilidades de dibujo y de experimentar con diferentes técnicas y estilos. Esto te ayudará a descubrir nuevas formas de expresarte y a desarrollar tu propio estilo único.

Para crear este dibujo se usó una cartulina blanca de tamaño pequeña y el uso del lápiz de grafito 2B. Se comenzó a crear el rostro del felino como su mirada, nariz, boca orejas y su pelo.

Ahora seguimos con los detalles del pelaje del gato y aplicando una capa de grafito muy suave como acariciando el papel, para luego con la ayuda de un pequeño pincel de cerda suave expandir el grafito y así crear una superficie suave, y con un borrador dejando algunos pequeños detalles dejando a la vista los diferentes tonos para las luces y sombras.

Luego para las sombras más oscuras y darle profundidad usaremos el mismo lápiz 2B, pero haciendo un poco más de presión sobre el papel, pero hay que tener en cuenta que se debe tener una mano firme pero liviana para mezclar y difuminar cuidadosamente el dibujo para obtener un acabado uniforme y realista.

Finalmente con un borrador seguimos creando algunas luces, de igual manera algunas partes de su pelaje para así dar un toque de realismo al dibujo.

This drawing took me an hour of work. Although I would have liked to have included more images of the step-by-step process, unfortunately, it was not possible because it was a practice drawing done from start to finish. Este dibujo me tomó una hora de trabajo. A pesar de que me hubiera gustado haber incluido mas imágenes del proceso paso a paso, desafortunadamente, no me fue posible debido que fue un dibujo de practica hecho de principio a fin.
