Greetings fellow art enthusiasts. Wishing you have a happy day. My name is Elvis Sanchez and today I am delighted to welcome you to my gallery where I display my collection of realistic drawings. I hope you enjoy my art.

Like all opportunities in drawing practice, every day I have a small space to create a portrait or illustration and today I allow myself to share with you a realistic drawing portrait. Commissioned by a friend in memory of his mother. Drawing that has been made using a 2B graphite pencil.

To create this realistic portrait, a white cardboard measuring 28 x 34 centimeters was used. And with the use of the 2B graphite pencil, creating the face and its parts such as the shape of his gaze, eyes, part of his eyebrows, some lines of expressions, nose, lips and light hair.

Once this part has been created, we continue with the skin. We apply a layer of very soft graphite as if caressing the paper, and then with the help of a small soft bristle brush, expand the graphite and thus create a smooth and even surface, exposing the different tones for lights and shadows.

Then, for the darker shadows and to give depth to the portrait, we will use the same 2B pencil, but applying a little more pressure on the paper, but keep in mind that you must have a firm but light hand to carefully mix and blend the drawing. to obtain a uniform and realistic finish.

For light hair we take the 2B pencil and create a first layer with very soft lines following the hair loss, to then blend with the brush. We return with a second layer applying in the darkest areas of the hair and then blend with the brush.

Now to finish we review details with lines of expressions in the part of his gaze and with an eraser I have to draw lights, in the same way some parts of his face in order to give a touch of realism to the drawing.

Como todas las oportunidades en la práctica de dibujo, cada día dispongo un pequeño espacio para crear algún retrato o ilustración y hoy me permito compartir con ustedes un retrato en dibujo realista. Encargo de un amigo en memoria de su madre. Dibujo que ha sido realizada utilizando un lápiz de grafito 2B.

Para crear este retrato realista se usó una cartulina blanca de medidas 28 x 34 centímetros. Y con el uso del lápiz de grafito 2B creando el rostro y sus partes como la forma de su mirada, ojos, parte de sus cejas, algunas lineas de expresiones, nariz, labios y cabello claro.

Ya creado esta parte seguimos con la piel, Aplicamos una capa de grafito muy suave como acariciando el papel, para luego con la ayuda de un pequeño pincel de cerda suave expandir el grafito y así crear una superficie suave y pareja dejando a la vista los diferentes tonos para las luces y sombras.

Luego para las sombras más oscuras y darle profundidad al retrato usaremos el mismo lápiz 2B, pero haciendo un poco más de presión sobre el papel, pero hay que tener en cuenta que se debe tener una mano firme pero liviana para mezclar y difuminar cuidadosamente el dibujo para obtener un acabado uniforme y realista.

Para el cabello claro tomamos el lápiz 2B y creamos una primera capa con líneas muy suaves siguiendo la caída del cabello, para luego difuminar con el pincel. Volvemos con una segunda capa aplicando en las zonas más oscuras del cabello para luego difuminamos con el pincel.

Ya para terminar repasamos detalles con lineas de expresiones en la parte de su mirada y con un borrador he ir sacando luces, de igual manera algunas partes de su rostro para así dar un toque de realismo al dibujo.

This drawing took me five hours of work. Although I would have liked to have included more images of the process step by step, unfortunately, it was not possible for me since it was a drawing done from start to finish. Este dibujo me tomó cinco horas de trabajo. A pesar de que me hubiera gustado haber incluido mas imágenes del proceso paso a paso, desafortunadamente, no me fue posible debido que fue un dibujo hecho de principio a fin. Pero de igual manera están algunas imágenes del proceso. No obstante, espero que disfruten de este dibujo y les agradecería mucho si me dejaran sus comentarios.
