Have a cordial greeting, friends of the community and those lovers of drawing, in this opportunity I want to present some of my realistic works in drawings that I keep in my computer, both new and old drawings, and on this day I want to share a drawing of a rose made with colored pencils.

This unique drawing was created for the first practice with colored pencils and as a process a 2b pencil was used to create the sketch. Then, finished with the school colored pencils and using a red color with a very fine tip, I begin to build its petals with a first layer of pressure at 20% on the paper, then with the blur, seal in color.
Once applied, we place a new layer on it again and seal it with the blur. Remember that you must identify the following color tones that the petals have, since they vary when in contact with light and that every time you apply a new layer, try to make sure that it is well integrated with the previous one, in this way the result will be better.
Next, darker tones are used, such as a violet pencil, applying it in the same way with gentle pressure to mark the shadows and leave space for the lights to create volume in the rose.
Finally we will use the same process with the leaves applying a first layer with a green pencil and then sealing with the blur. Now for the final details we will use an eraser to remove the color pigments and create the different lights.
