Merry Christmas!

This morning we woke up very early to go and open the Christmas presents. I was celebrating Christmas morning with my little cousins so you can imagine the excitement this morning.

We were all very excited and received many presents from each other and some candy.

I’m not sure if everyone in Spain does this but we always put our shoe instead of a stocking for candy.

Later for lunch some family members came and we ate delicious food made and prepared by my father. After opening the presents we played trivia which has kind of become a tradition in my family to play a board game during a celebration like New Year’s Eve (I know, it sounds quite weird).

In Spain it is very typical to buy a ham leg during Christmas and although we do not buy one always we bought one this year, which is one of my favorite parts of Christmas.
