Poema: Navidad del niño pobre y del niño rico || (ESP-ENG)
Esta es la Navidad en mi pequeño pueblo al pie de los cerros con ranchos y techos de lámina. El niño pobre se viste en Navidad de su humildad y pobreza, mientras que el niño rico se viste de elegancia y disfruta de juguetes de elocuente tecnología. Llega la Navidad y los niños la reciben con inocencia. El niño pobre no comprende su escasez y el niño rico no comprende la abundancia que le rodea.
En este breve poema hablaremos de la Navidad del niño pobre y del niño rico.
This is Christmas in my small town at the foot of the hills with ranchos and tin roofs. The poor child dresses for Christmas in his humility and poverty, while the rich child dresses in elegance and enjoys toys of eloquent technology. Christmas arrives and the children receive it with innocence. The poor child does not understand his scarcity and the rich child does not understand the abundance that surrounds him.
In this short poem we will talk about the Christmas of the poor child and the rich child.

Navidad del niño pobre y del niño rico
Los niños pobres juegan con coches de cartón
y los niños ricos juegan con tecnología decente.
El niño pobre pasa hambre en Navidad
y al niño rico en la mesa le sobra comida.
El niño del barrio muestra su carita sucia
y los zapatos rotos y sin suela.
El niño rico se adorna con ropa decente.
Tiene muchos zapatos en su armario.
En Navidad hay alegría
En Navidad también hay tristeza.
El niño pobre mira jugar al niño rico
Y sueña tanto, ser como el rico tan igual.
La Navidad llega con dos caras a la ciudad
visita al rico en la urbanización
y el pobre en los ranchos de los cerros.

Christmas of the poor child and the rich child
Poor children play with cardboard cars
and rich kids play with decent technology.
The poor child goes hungry at Christmas
and the rich kid at the table has food left over.
The neighborhood child shows his dirty little face
and broken shoes without soles.
The rich kid decorates himself with decent clothes.
He has plenty of shoes in his closet.
At Christmas there is joy
At Christmas there is also sadness.
The poor boy watches the rich boy play
And dreams so much, to be like the rich one so equal.
Christmas comes with two faces to the city
visits the rich in the housing estate
and the poor in the ranches of the hills.
