Live like a child in obedience to God. (ENG/ESP)
As an earthly father rejoices when his son is obedient, how much more joy in the Lord when his children live in full obedience to Him.
In 1 Peter 1:14 we find:
As obedient children, do not conform to the desires that you previously had while being in your ignorance.
We must go to God as little children or we will never walk in obedience. We must depend on Him and ask Him for help continually. He must help us in all that God has called us to do. He is ready, waiting and with more than will. But we must go to Him with the humility of a child, with sincerity, honesty, unpretentious and open, knowing that, without Him and His continued help, we can never walk to new levels of obedience.
In 1 John 4: 4, the apostle writes:
“Little children, you are of God, and you have conquered them; because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world”.
The apostle John speaks of defeating and overcoming the enemy. Again, I think we need to see that this is only accomplished as we go to God as children, depending on Him, counting on Him, trusting Him and so on.
In Galatians 4:19, the Apostle Paul called the Galatian believers:
My little children, for whom I again suffer birth pains, until Christ is formed in you”.
Just as loving parents are willing to suffer for their children if necessary, so Paul suffered persecution to preach the Gospel to those he called his children. It was they who had been born into the Kingdom of God through the preaching of Paul. And Paul wanted to see them grow and enjoy what we got through the death of Jesus.
By referring to them as sons, Paul let them know that he was ready to stand by their side and do whatever was necessary, even suffer if necessary to see the achievement of God's purpose in their lives.
A good father would rather suffer in his own flesh than see his children suffer. We see this "father-child principle" in action when the Father sent Jesus to die for us, his children.
According to the Bible, being innocent like a child is our right, given by God and bought with the price of blood.

Vive como un niño en obediencia a Dios
De la manera en que un padre terrenal se regocija cuando su hijo es obediente, cuánto más gozo en el Señor cuando sus hijos viven en plena obediencia a Él.
En 1 Pedro 1: 14 encontramos:
Como hijos obedientes, no os conforméis a los deseos que antes teníais estando en vuestra ignorancia.
Debemos ir a Dios como niñitos o nunca caminaremos en obediencia. Debemos depender de Él y pedirle ayuda de continuo. Él debe ayudarnos en todo lo que Dios nos ha llamado a realizar. Él esté listo, esperando y con más que voluntad. Pero debemos ir donde Él con la humildad de un niño, con sinceridad, honestidad, sin pretensiones y abiertos, sabiendo que, sin Él ni su ayuda continua, podremos caminar en nuevos niveles de obediencia jamás.
En 1 de Juan 4:4, el apóstol escribe:
“Hijitos, vosotros sois de Dios, y los habéis vencido; porque mayor es el que está en vosotros, que el que está en el mundo”.
El apóstol Juan habla de derrotar y vencer al enemigo. Una vez más, considero que necesitamos ver que esto sólo se logra a medida que vamos a Dios como niños, dependiendo de Él, contando de Él, confiando en Él y así sucesivamente.
En Gálata 4:19, el apóstol Pablo llamó a los creyentes de Galacia:
Hijitos míos, por quienes vuelvo a sufrir dolores de parto, hasta que Cristo sea formado en vosotros”.
Tal como los padres amorosos están dispuestos a sufrir por sus hijos de ser necesario, así Pablo sufría persecución para predicar el Evangelio a quienes llamaba sus hijos. Eran ellos los que habían nacido en el Reino de Dios a través de la predicación de Pablo. Y Pablo deseaba verlos crecer y disfrutar lo que obtuvimos a través de la muerte de Jesús.
Al referirse a ellos como hijos, Pablo les dejaba saber que estaba presto para estar a su lado y hacer lo que fuese necesario, incluso sufrir si era necesario para ver el logro del propósito de Dios en la vida de ellos.
Un buen padre preferiría sufrir en carne propia que ver sufrir a sus hijos. Vemos este “principio paterno-filial” en acción cuando el Padre envió a Jesús a morir por nosotros, sus hijos.
Según la Biblia, el ser inocente como un niño es nuestro derecho, dado por Dios y comprado con precio de sangre.
