Greetings dear friends of the @ecoTrain community. Today I want to continue talking about miracles, after having done my participation in the question of the week. I will be making reference about the first miracle of Jesus Christ on earth. We know that a miracle is a highly extraordinary event outside the natural laws and with the divine participation of our God. The first miracle of Jesus Christ took place at a famous feast called "The Wedding at Cana", where Jesus turned water into wine. Turning water into wine is something that every man dreams of, however, this could only be done by Jesus Christ the Son of God as a great sign of what he would do for all mankind, shedding his blood for the sins of mankind. The wine is a symbol of the blood of Jesus Christ shed on the cross.

On the third day there was a marriage feast in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there. 2 Jesus and his disciples were also invited to the marriage feast. 3 And when there was no wine, the mother of Jesus said to him, "They have no wine. 4 Jesus saith unto her, What have you to do with me, woman? My hour is not yet come. 5 And his mother said unto them that ministered, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it. 6 And there were there six stone water jars, according to the rite of purification of the Jews, wherein stood two or three pitchers apiece. 7 Jesus said to them, "Fill these jars with water. And they filled them to the brim. 8 And he said unto them, Draw out, I pray you, and carry it to the governor's hall. And they took him away. 9 And when the cupbearer had tasted the water made wine, and knew not from whence it was, though the servants which drew the water knew it, he called the bridegroom, 10 And said unto him, Every man first serves the good wine, and when they have drunk much, then the inferior: but thou hast kept back the good wine until now. 11 This beginning of signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested his glory; and his disciples believed in him. "John 2: 1-11"

It is impressive that Jesus began his ministry by performing the miracle of turning water into wine, where wine, according to the Bible, comes to represent God's new covenant with man, through the blood of Christ. In previous moments, before Jesus was handed over to be crucified, he performed the Passover supper with his disciples and taught them the real meaning of what the wine would represent. Whenever holy supper was made and wine and unleavened bread were used, Jesus taught that the bread would symbolize his body which for all mankind was to be mistreated and that the wine would be his blood which would be shed for the sins of all mankind. When the Lord's churches practice the Lord's Supper, it is a remembrance of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

When the hour came, he sat down at table, and the apostles with him. 15 And he said to them, "How I longed to eat this passover with you before I suffer! 16 For I say unto you, I will eat it no more, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God. 17 And when he had taken the cup, he gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves: 18 For I say unto you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God come. 19 And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave to them, saying, This is my body, which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. 20 In like manner also, when he had supped, he took the cup, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you. "Luke 22: 14-20"

On the cross Jesus bore the sins of all mankind, and in the wounds of his body he bore the healing of all men. On him fell the chastisement of our peace. The blood that Jesus shed is that which cleanses us from all sin. The Lord said that the "Just shall live by faith". If we believe that the blood of Christ cleanses us from sin and that Jesus is the Son of God, then we will be saved and the blood of Christ cleanses us forever. Jesus began his ministry by turning water into wine and then declared that the wine symbolizes the blood he would shed for us all on the cross. "If you can believe, for the one who believes all things are possible."
