Hace muchos años antes de los nuevos dioses existía una ciudadela muy próspera llamada Chernobilona que era muy creyente en los viejos dioses, hasta que fueron abandonados, ya que en esa ciudadela obtenían energía de esclavizar gigantes con corazón brillante en eso los alquimistas investigaban todo sobre ellos y se aseguraban de que todo fuera seguro, que prosperara la humanidad, pero un día uno de los alquimista no quiso admitir el error que habían cometido que no estaban preparados para lo que se avecinaba en una de los centros de energía varios gigantes empezaron a colapsar por un virus estallando sus corazones llegando a contaminar a toda la ciudadela, el alquimista responsable de eso huyo a tiempo con información relevante luego de esos eventos los humanos que vivían allí tenían dos opciones morir o evolucionar, fueron una nueva clase de humanos obteniendo poderes que al final los estudiosos que sobrevivieron decidieron llamarla magia nuclear al final se dividió en dos la ciudad los que querían que pagaran por los crímenes el alquimista desaparecido y los que lo defendían, los que los defendía era un grupo minoritario, fueron desterrados de la ciudad mientras que los que quedaron juraron volver a alzar la ciudad y hacer justicia por los que murieron tras el atentado.
Al pasar 50 años de esos sucesos se establecieron leyes contra los alquimistas y se hizo un gremio policial de magos con una misión principal de proteger la prosperidad de la ciudadela en uno de esos días una maga Investigadora llamada Natalka va a visitar a una ex-baronesa, pero al llegar a la calle por donde vive le fue a preguntar sobre la casa de ella a un viejo, este se sorprende al escuchar la dirección a donde se dirigía ella, el viejo apura el paso llevando unas bolsas con comida, sin embargo, se cae al momento que pasa alguien cabalgando a toda velocidad un herrero en la dirección a donde estaba siguiendo al viejo, al final llegaron a la ubicación y resulto que el viejo era el tío abuelo de la ex-baronesa notaron que la puerta estaba abierta y que todo estaba raro, Natalka al entrar vio la escena del crimen y al instante saco al tío abuelo para que no contaminara la escena, en el piso yacía la ex-baronesa Klarysa con una herida en el pecho la cual brillaba al lado de ella estaba el arma que usaron un hacha la cual tiene sangre normal eso le decía a ella que querían mandar un mensaje con lo que tiene en el pecho Klarysa, luego de llamar a la Guardia y de dar unas breves respuestas al interrogatorio de la Guardia, pero al hacerlo sigue analizando la situación y se va a seguir el rastro, en eso como el Guardia no termino el interrogatorio manda a seguirlo uno de sus guardias, en eso Natalka se sube a su caballo de raza pura y se dirige a la herrería mientras el guardia lo sigue en otro caballo tratando de seguirle el paso, en la herrería pregunta sobre la herrera que vio diciendo sus rasgos y allí mismo la identificaron dándole su dirección, el guardia a lo que llego ya la investigadora se estaba volviendo a subir a su caballo le gritaba que se detuviera, pero siguió al trote con su caballo.
Al llegar a la dirección vio el caballo que usaba la herrera sospechosa al acercarse ella se percató que la habían seguido y comenzó a huir, a lo que Natalka bebió uno de sus frascos de maná para elaborar un hechizo de antigravedad que la haría volar por unos cuantos minutos, al tiempo que llega el guardia que también los estaba siguiendo y vio que Natalka empezaba a volar para seguir a la sospechosa, entonces él también los siguió, pero corriendo se encontraban entre callejones siguiendo a la herrera, la misma destrozaba el camino para impedir que la siguieran la investigadora trataba de interponerse, sin embargo, ella hallaba otro camino al cual huir, Natalka trato de hechizarla para mantenerla levitando, pero al disparar el hechizo la herrera lanzo un martillo que si no era porque ya le había disparado e impacto en el martillo seguro le fuera causado un gran daño a la maga investigadora, ella se especializaba en hechizos antigravedad y con ese hechizo ya había gastado dos frascos de maná de los cinco que se les permitían a los magos que servían a la seguridad, con el martillo levitando continuo persiguiendo a esa herrera escurridiza por un mercado en una de esas la herrera logro derribar a la maga de una pedrada al escaparse de la vista de ella, lo que no se había percatado es que un guardia también la seguía.
Al verlo siguió huyendo, pero el guardia se había acercado lo suficiente, este guardia también era un mago que bebió tres frascos de maná preparando y lanzando tres hechizos uno que cubría sus manos con cadenas, otro que hacia lo mismo, pero con sus pies, el otro era un gancho encadenado el cual lo hizo acercarse muy rápido a la herrera intentando conectar un golpe con sus puños para dejarla inmóvil, pero está por muy poco logro esquivar el ataque aunque tuvo un roce con las cadenas, al guardia no le quedo de otra que gastar otro frasco de maná en otro hechizo de gancho con cadena esta vez logrando impactar en la herrera con una patada directamente en su espalda con ella cayendo en el suelo gasto su último frasco de maná en un hechizo que la encadenaba al suelo.
Natalka en lo que se levantó alcanzo al guardia este por fin pudiéndose presentar le dijo que se llamaba Kuzma también era un mago y talentoso que acababa de unirse a la guardia de Chernobilona, ella muy indiferente concentrada en el sospechoso lo ato bien mientras Kuzma seguía presentándose y de un momento a otro ya se estaba llevando al sospechoso al CIC (Centro de Investigaciones de Chernobilona) el guardia se quedó embobado al ver como se alejaba tan rápido la investigadora con el sospechoso dándose cuenta de que demonios le explicaría a su superior en la guardia.
A las horas la herrera se encontraba en la sala de interrogatorio del CIC donde se le preguntaba el porqué asesino a una ex-baronesa, pero ella se negaba su culpabilidad en el asesinato dijo que la había encontrado ya asesinada entonces le pregunto él ¿Por qué no llamo a la Guardia y en vez de eso decidió robar? La herrera dijo solo había robado porque ser herrero no cubre los gastos suficientes que tiene en su casa criando un niño sin un padre.
La investigadora no creyó en su testimonio, ya que las pruebas eran evidentes así que ese mismo día fue juzgada y sentenciada, Natalka al ver cuando se llevaban de prisionera a la herrera logro ver al hijo pequeño de ella que lloraba entonces logro empatizar un poco así que la maga fue a investigar más el sitio del asesinato quedándose observando el interior hasta que vio que la ex-baronesa tenía en el techo espejos viéndose ella hasta que recordó que existen espejos mágicos que reflejan lo sucedido en días así que gasto un frasco de maná y toco con magia el espejo con esperanza de que fuera mágico, resultando serlo viendo como cometía el asesinato un sujeto cubierto completamente en ropa negra encapuchado sin poder ver rostro únicamente su figura muy corpulenta usando el hacha que brillaba al abrirle el pecho a la ex-baronesa así fue que llamo a la guardia para avisarle de lo sucedido, pero Kuzma le dijo que ya era tarde de igual forma la herrera se había suicidado en la prisión dejando una carta suicida la cual decía que si no puede confiar en la seguridad de Chernobilona que les espera a sus habitantes, los trovadores empezaron a cantar todas las calles lo sucedido haciendo quedar mal a la CIC y ahora con una nuevamente con la investigación abierta Natalka tendrá que hacer algo al respecto.
