Lessons learnt from the day 10 mass indoctrination:
In the church of God, according to the doctrine of Christ, christians are to adorn their inner and outward man.
2 Corinthians 4:16
16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
The man who is of God had two beings, the inward man and the outward man. The outward man is our flesh, it can get weak and afflicted but the inward man is a strong man. The inward man is spiritual and is renewed daily.
2 Corinthians 4: 17-18
17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
Some people are outwardly men but inwardly beasts. There are 2 kinds of men, one whose inward man is human while one whose inward man is a beast. These people prefer evil and derive pleasure in doing wrong.
Proverbs 26:11
11 As a dog returneth to his vomit, so a fool returneth to his folly.
What is man according to the bible?
Man is a creature created in the image and likeness of God. Created in the similitude of God.
Genesis 1:26
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
How do we discern and feel if what we have inside is a man or a beast.?
If you feel delight in the law of the Lord then what you have is an inward man because an inward man delights in His law.
Romans 7:22
22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
Psalm 40:8
8 I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.
If you have an inward man in you, you will find happiness in doing the laws of the Lord, you will feel delighted to fulfill the commandments of helping others. If you hate the law, you hate God and you definitely have a beast inside of you.
Make assessment on yourself always to know what's inside of you. We must examine ourselves. It's only God and yourself that knows what's inside of you.
2 Corinthians 13:5
5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
If you are always thinking of evil towards others then you have a beast inside of you.
The Christian should adorn the inward man not with the outward adorning of the hair or with Jewelries as it causes distraction in the church. Christians are prohibited from putting on Jewels of Gold. Some women put on costly Jewelries just to be proud, boast and forget God.
Hosea 2:13
13 And I will visit upon her the days of Baalim, wherein she burned incense to them, and she decked herself with her earrings and her jewels, and she went after her lovers, and forgat me, saith the Lord.
Jeremiah 4:30
30 And when thou art spoiled, what wilt thou do? Though thou clothest thyself with crimson, though thou deckest thee with ornaments of gold, though thou rentest thy face with painting, in vain shalt thou make thyself fair; thy lovers will despise thee, they will seek thy life.
If you want to avoid curses and maintain good health, we should obey God.
Isaiah 3:16-24
16 Moreover the Lord saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with stretched forth necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet:
17 Therefore the Lord will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the Lord will discover their secret parts.
18 In that day the Lord will take away the bravery of their tinkling ornaments about their feet, and their cauls, and their round tires like the moon,
19 The chains, and the bracelets, and the mufflers,
20 The bonnets, and the ornaments of the legs, and the headbands, and the tablets, and the earrings,
21 The rings, and nose jewels,
22 The changeable suits of apparel, and the mantles, and the wimples, and the crisping pins,
23 The glasses, and the fine linen, and the hoods, and the vails.
24 And it shall come to pass, that instead of sweet smell there shall be stink; and instead of a girdle a rent; and instead of well set hair baldness; and instead of a stomacher a girding of sackcloth; and burning instead of beauty.
1 Peter 3:3-4
3 Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel;
4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.
An incorruptible apparel which is a meek and quiet spirit has great price in the sight of God. This quiet spirit is the word of God. The spirit we should put in our hearts is the word of God to adorn our hearts.
John 6:63
63 It is the spdirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
Psalm 119:11
Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
What God expects from us is a modest apparel. Immodest apparel is prohibited by God. Some women dress indecently by showing their breasts and causing men to sin.
Matthew 5:28
28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
You should put on modesty in our inner man and dress simply as a woman.
A woman should not put on a man's garment and vice versa.
Deuteronomy 22:5
5 The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God.
