Love Lock Hearts and Beach Huts

While visiting the east coast of England, we had a walk along Skegness Pier, where there is a heart sculpture.

Visitors are allowed to place love locks on the sculpture as an act of love or in memory of loved ones who have passed away.

Apparently, 'The Hive' is a nightlife entertainment complex on Grand Parade in the town. It isn't the Hive we know.

In nearby, Chapel St Leonards, there are some beach huts. Visitors can hire one so they can sit by the sea, and I think some are for sale. They are quite iconic looking and typical of British seaside culture.

I decided to use black and white photographs because it was an overcast day and out of season at the seaside. Time for a coffee!
