Lost in the Woods … But Found Monica Geller from Friends (Sort Of)

I went for a walk around the Upper Moor woods this morning. It was overcast but still quite mild. The lay-by was quite full of cars, but I didn’t bump into many people, as there are quite a few paths to choose from.

The wooded area is still quite brown looking but it runs adjacent to a field that is looking more lush.

I like seeing the lovely silver birch trees along the footpath. A few trees had been blown down. I think we are expecting Storm Dave at some point, so there might be a few more before the weekend’s up.

This footpath wasn’t very wide. Luckily, I didn't encounter anyone walking my way. The air seemed quite still this morning, as I walked along the path. I could only hear the occasional birdsong breaking the silence.

The ground was slightly damp underfoot, but not slippery. Although, there were times I did slip. I wasn't going in any particular direction, I just went with the flow and chose the path less muddy!

When I returned to my car, I found Monica from 'Friends'. Well, she wasn’t the real Monica. Apparently, McDonald’s has launched a meal deal where you get six figurines from the sitcom 'Friends', including Monica Geller in her chef uniform. Can a walk get any more sillier than this? (I miss Chandler Bing.) I decided to leave her on the wall just in case her owner came back for her .... or even Chandler.
