Costa Coffee, Elon Musk and my Mum!

I know not everyone likes the big coffee corporations, I'm not a fan of Starbucks myself. However, I don't mind popping into Costa now and again. When my mum was still alive, it used to be her favourite coffee shop. If she went somewhere new, she'd always want to know if there was a Costa there. Even if she received an invite from Elon Musk to go into space, I know what her first question would have been. In fact, we used to call her the Queen of Costa Coffee!

Standing beneath the cups, I wondered if I could recreate cups dangling from my ceiling as I'm running out of cupboard space. I'm tall, so I would probably get concussion every time I went into the kitchen. It's not a good look.

We ordered a couple of lattes, a raspberry and almond slice and a neapolitan muffin. It's not very often I have a slice of cake, so I thought it was about time I did!

I like Costa as the staff are usually quite friendly and there's always a good feel to the place.

I also like that each time you buy anything, you earn points, which you can then redeem for a free drink when you have enough points. Everyone loves a freebie!
