Cinnamon Cup Coffee - From Hospital to Costa Coffee

My brother had to go into hospital last week. A few months ago, he had a stent put in after a heart attack. Unfortunately, it didn't quite work, so he had to have it replaced.

I asked him what the coffee was like in hospital? He said ... warm. I took it from that, it wasn't actually tasty. Here he is, doing his best zombie impersonation, after having a radioactive drink of hospital coffee.

I took him a can of Costa to make up for it. These little cans come in handy when you want a quick fix!

The procedure went well. He was discharged from hospital and on the way home we called in at Costa. You just have to get your priorities right!

Real coffee then real food, then a real bed to sleep in. those were the things I craved after my hospital stay a few years back.

I think he was ready for his own bed. Not sure if he will sleep though after all that coffee!

I'm sure he will sleep, it will not take long before that coffee wears off, and then a nice comfy pillow for the head and a good nap.

Oh! Well done! The Costa made all the difference and enhanced a speedy recovery!
My friend’s mother also got this procedure years ago! Now he’ll have to take it easy before going out hiking in the Lake District!

Pray tell him! I wish him a very speedy recovery and much stronger health very soon!

Yikes, sounds like he's ok? Scary stuff, but happy to read he's doing better!

My first thought on that can was that it was a Four Loko...I was going to say, that would be quite the way to get take out at the hospital!

I've just had to google Four Loko. I think he'd definitely prefer that! He's doing ok thanks.

Back in the day, they used to make that with some very heavy duty caffeine. People were addicted to it...it was almost like a drug. I worked with a girl who used to put 2 24 oz cans of that down (@ 12% ABV) at work before she would head to the bars. Party time!!

I've heard strong caffeine is good for migraines. She probably did it for that ... not. 🙂
