Amazing Nature - Autumn Forest

Autumn continues to impress me.
Hopefully, we've still got a couple of weeks to enjoy the beauty of it.

The leaves change from green to red, orange, yellow or brown and when the leaves fall, it is such a lovely sight, especially when the sun throws shadows on the ground.

I had to be careful, as the ground looked solid but there's rainwater running down the slope. You can very quickly be up to your knees in mud.

It's been a good year for fungi. We always have rain in the UK and fungi love dark and damp environments, but this year I've seen a lot more than I ever have.

I sometimes come across random gates in the forest. Obviously, they were used in the past but they are now just solitary objects, that aren't attached to anything.

In the UK it starts getting dark at tea time so we have to make the most of the light.
