A Walk Around Shipley Country Park

We had a walk round Shipley Country Park today. We've had a few sunny days and people are already complaining it's too hot, including me! The park has approximately 700 acres to explore. There's woodland areas, ponds, reservoirs and walking and cycling trails.

The common blue damselfly might be our most common damselfly but it's still very attractive. They were doing their thing!

We spotted a great crested grebe. The plume on its head and orange ruff around its neck looked quite striking.

The lovely cows definitely weren't camera shy!

We finished our walk with a coffee and then went home before it got too hot.

Lovely park with plenty to see and explore. Nice shots of that pretty bird! It’s so nice to live near several parks and woodlands.

Oh! No! I did suffer from hay fever for several years! Had to use homeopathic remedy!!
Here I found myself being allergic to some kinds of grass pollens!

It's been quite high here. People who don't normally get it have been suffering. Never mind, knowing the UK weather, it will probably snow tomorrow. 😁

Hope the rain will soon wash these pollens away.
