A Snowy Village Stroll featuring Snow Hearts and Park Bench Pals

There's been no snow overnight. The sun has been out all day, so the snow is thawing. The main roads are fine, but walking around the village some roads on the estate are still a little slippery. Someone's tyres had made two heart shapes in the snow.

My neighbour's guinea fowls are free range. They are about fifteen years old now and well loved in the village. They managed to find a sun trap just outside of my flat.

Walking around, I decided to take my walking pole, as the clumps of ice were painful to my feet. The sun was shining through the copse. I had to do a detour, as it was quite slushy.

A man was taking a break, sitting on the park bench, while his dog sat in the snow. The children in the village were still sledging in the background.

The roller was originally to flatten the cricket pitch. It's practically an antique now, and is never used. They've left it at the side of the cricket pavilion as a reminder of times gone by.

There's still plenty of snow up on the hills.

There are no birds on the top pond, as it's completely iced over. All the birds are grouped together on the bottom pond. I don’t think there's much more snow forecast. It was good while it lasted.
