Origami Time - Water Bomb
"Mommy, mommy!!! Why is my water bomb look so different from the book???" Vinnie came running to me and asked... ๐
And this is her "water bomb"... Indeed it does look a bit weird and different from the one in her book...

She brought her "big book" to me... and asked me WHY ๐๐๐

So, mommy needs to figure out and make her a water bomb...
Following the steps in the book...
Vinnie passed me a piece of used paper... and said we need to use a square paper to make the water bomb... Any size is fine, just that the bigger the paper size, the bigger your water bomb will be... But to make a good solid water bomb, either you shrink the size or you use a thicker paper...
First, fold half both horizontally and vertically. Unfold the paper.

Then open it up and fold it diagonally. Unfold the paper.

Next, fold the top corner to the bottom to form a triangle and do not unfold this time. Follow step 4, 5 and 6 in the book shown at the image above.

Fold the sides of the upper layer as shown in step 7 in the book.

Ok, this is the part where Vinnie missed and resulted her water bomb to be weird and different from the book. We have this little pocket created in step 7. This is very important, we need to tuck in the loose top points into the pocket.

Repeat the same process at the other side.

Find the end with the opening and blow hard into it to inflate your water bomb...

BLOW BLOW BLOW... Must blow hard and quick... remember not to inhale while your mouth is still attach near at the hole, else you might risk sucking out the air from your water bomb and resulting in deflating it.

Mommy's water bomb is done... And Vinnie quickly went and redo her water bomb...

I think if we use colorful papers to make these water bombs... and in different sizes, maybe they would even look nice on a Christmas tree... What do you think??? Can these "water bombs" pass as "ornaments" on the Christmas tree???
