Harvested my kangkung a.k.a water spinach again. If I don't harvest today, I guess in a few more days I won't have any leaves yet. The snails are feasting on my kangkung🐌🐌🐌

What have I learned today? If I have not planted these kangkung, I wouldn't have found out that the kangkung has flowers like the morning glory. And today when I harvest the leaves, I found out there're some nut-like "fruits". I wonder whether this fruits can be eaten or not. Anyone knows about this?

I do learn new things from your posts! I hadn't heard of water spinach. Interesting vegetable! Do you eat it raw, as well as in a soup?

Normally we stir fried it with garlic or with sambal belacan (Sambal Belacan is the shrimp paste flavoured Malay chilli paste). I was too lazy to stir fry so I just put it in my soup. 😂

Haha...if I never plant kangkung, I would never know they have flowers. Their flowers are like morning glory. White in colour. Very beautiful.

Water spinach is one of my favorite veggies, but we didn't eat it much in Suriname because the quality of it was very low. I just arrived in Cambodia the other day, so now kangkong is on the menu again.
