Beautiful Sunday + Sublime Sunday

Sharing my backyard garden again today... Last week we had kangkung a.k.a. water spinach. And I thought maybe I can try to plant the kangkung in my backyard garden. I chose a few of the stems with roots and plant them into a planting box.

I have no idea whether this will work or not. I just thought of giving it a try. And a week later, this is the result... I am so happy... And hopefully it will keep growing and growing and growing... I should have planted more 🤣🤣🤣 coz with this growing speed, I guess I will have to wait for some time before I can have enough for 8 of us...

Wow this is amazing! I also have this new habit to pick some leftover stems and replant them. Aiya was just having kangkung the other day but I did not think of replanting them until I came across your post. Thank you for the brilliant idea!

We seldom have kangkung. These kangkung were given to us by my mother in law's friend. I thought since it has roots why not I try to plant them. I never expect they would grow this well. One of the tip is choose those bigger and older stems with lots of roots. They have better chance of surviving. And they need lots of water too.
