Happy Friday! 😁……..My Actifit Report Card: October 2 2026

TGIF! Happy Friday everybody!

It’s ironic—isn’t it, when the day flies by and you realize it’s later than you think and then……..it’s like the day suddenly is in slow-mo! The afternoon drags on and on and on!

That’s how the day went for Marissa and me. Fortunately, the end does come!😎. We were fairly busy until the afternoon which may have had something to do with that slow-mo feeling. Next week will be a marathon week, but for now—I’m NOT thinking about it.

Dandelions are usually the first sign that spring is on the way however when they go to seed, it can be a winding down of the warmer seasons, especially when looking at the landscape around them.

A dandelion going to seed always bring joy to a child for they’re soft and are dispersed with the soft blowing of breath! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a child not enjoy them!

As an adult, we see that seed disbursement as a threat that more will come along if our goal is to eradicate them from the yard. But…….what if……..just for a moment, you forget that, think like a child noticing the awe they find in the fuzzy white top and sit back and gently blow on one? Perhaps we all could use a little child-like wonder!

So maybe this weekend, go out and find yourself a dandelion top. Examine it closely and then gently blow the seeds! Maybe make a wish while you’re at it! 😁😎👍

That’s gonna be all for me. Tomorrow is the festival at Stoney Ridge Farm. Looking forward to it and tons of pics, pumpkins and gourds along with fresh apples and some cider! It’s supposed to be a stunningly gorgeous day!
