Happy Hump Day! 😁…….My Actifit Report Card: September 30 2026

Happy Hump Day, y’all! Phoenix is looking good and very content with her day!

Work was busy but not busy. An oxymoron for sure but that’s the best way to describe it. There was a mama and her child with an extreme mix-up for her appointment, compliments of my Monday gal. She kept asking the mom for her info and made the appointment for the mom and not the child. Mom wasn’t too happy; had told Lisa today about the difficulties she had just trying to make the appointment. The mom also gave an updated phone number which my Monday gal failed to put in the system. If she had, I might have been able to head the problem off at the pass. The child had insurance which my doc for today could not take which added even more to the list of what went wrong.

This isn’t the first time my Monday gal has made mistakes with patients’ appointments nor unfortunately, will it be the last. I can’t say anything about it to the owner as this person is family, so it falls on deaf ears. 😔

I found this neat little table lamp on Amazon that heats up candles to throw the scent without a flame. I coupled it with a lovely candle from Bath & Body Works. With kitties in the house, I always worry about the potential for a ‘flaming fur-ball’ running through the house! 🙀 This stops that from ever happening!

I liked it so well, I purchased one for my desk at work! It has a built-in timer for 2, 4, 8, and 10 hours of run time. 😽
