My Actifit Report Card: June 26 2022

The day dawned warm. Too warm for early in the morning. That was the first clue it was gonna be a hot 🥵 one! Day 2 of the year’s first real heatwave for us. I watered and covered my Brussels sprouts and part of my flowers. Then we headed to church ⛪️ and it was the first service ever at this church since it was built in 1913, that it’s ever had air conditioning! It sure was nice! 😁 By the time service was done, it was pretty uncomfortable outside. ☀️🥵☀️
After a trip to get @silvertop milk for his coffees, he settled into a little firewood stacking and I took care of some online chores. Then we went to Bellingham to Cash and Carry to get coffee syrups, cups and lids and some gluten free soft tortilla wraps. The thermometer 🌡 was reading close to 90. Good thing the car 🚗 has air conditioning!
Upon returning home 🏡 he went to split a little of the firewood 🪵 and I cleaned out a long overdue filing cabinet.
Even though it was hot, we still needed some steps and headed out for a short hike.
That’s gonna be it for now. Tomorrow brings the third and hottest day they are calling for. Taking care and enjoy the evening. Please continue to pray for Ukraine 🇺🇦
