My Actifit Report Card: January 16 2022
Hey everybody and thanks for stopping by!
What’s that strange orange light in the forest, you ask? It looks suspended in the middle of the forest, but it’s not. It’s the setting sun peeping between some tress, giving it an allusion of floating.
The day started with online church. Unfortunately, there are folks (like me-although I knew, thanks to Jan) that there was no in person church today. At least one of them let it be known as a comment when they figured it out, on the live broadcast. I’m guessing they drove to church. I think perhaps a few phone calls prior to today, might have been appropriate. Not everybody tunes into Facebook and checks announcements 🙃
So, let me show a before and after photo.

Yes, it’s still seriously foggy here! The before pic was yesterday up at the off grid cabin. Normally, on a clear day, you can see all the way to Bellingham Bay and beyond. The after pic, was the same view but from today. Pea soup! I understand we were under a fog emergency warning (didn’t know that existed) and last night, they were saying visibility was zero and to not travel unless necessary. Crazy! We’ve had a lot of extremes lately!
I originally yesterday, was going to look for winter fungi, but found nothing. Today, I found some.
I took several angles of this, but will save some for those days when I’m low on pics.
We did the entire hike today, almost 6 miles! The forest is ever changing, so it’s never boring.
As we were descending, this was the sunset view from a lower vantage point.
Very schee!
Last night, I stepped away from the computer for a few minutes and when I came back, I found @actifit-lamb going through actifit stats on actifit.io! She wants her own computer, she tells me! 🐑

That sunset looks beautiful, yet to witness one myself, hopefully someday soon.
Glad you were able to hike today though the Fog, never knew fog could cause this much inconvenience.

Good of you to explain what the light in the forest means, I thought it was a garden lamp.
