My Actifit Report Card: September 16 2021
Greetings all! I hope you’ve had a great day!
Mine was good but busy. The doc was around for the morning with appointments and my first timer in the afternoon was a ‘no show’. That allowed more time than I anticipated 😎
Cot taking a snooze 😴
We headed out this evening for a hike up to the pond and back. It won’t be long before we’ll be doing that in the dark. Jan came with 😁
We picked a couple apples off the trees up by the pond to take home with us.
It will be time soon for dinner and a bit of TV. Then off to bed. Tomorrow’s another fully booked day at work, but at least it’s Friday 😁👍😎
Take care and stay blessed! 👣🐑🎃🌻🍂🍁😁😎👍☕️☕️😴

I need sleep! I envy your kitty Cot!
You and me both, lol!
Tonight, we go to bed early!!!!
It didn't happen for me! Plus as you can tell, I'm up way too early!
@elizabethbit What type of apples are you picking over yonder? It sounds like you and your family/friends have a "snack/food" hiking trail! Have you found any asparagus and/or ginseng?
Did we miss the berries? Strawberries, blackberries, blueberries?
Your ferocious feline doesn't appear to go walking with you? Is that an outdoor or an indoor cat?
The Kingdom sends blessings and

I have no idea what kind of apples they are! There are several trees and this year they did not yield very well. So I took advantage of the good ones I saw.
No asparagus nor ginseng. Berries, yes we spent a lot of the summer picking as we hiked and eating of course, thimble berries, aka service berries, also aka salmon berries. Pick a name, lol! They are quite tasty and tart and I suspect loaded with vitamin C. I don't know this for sure as I've not researched it, but they just taste like they would. Very yummy!
Of course, there are blackberries along the trails as well. Then there are English Walnuts too. Yes, you can survive here very nicely just by grazing as you hike!
Indoor kitty only! Too many eagles, hawks, cougars and people who like to injure your pets!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a very blessed and happy weekend @kingneptune!🍁🤗☕️
@elizabethbit The secret "UNVEILED!" Now everyone knows how and why your family goes out hiking everyday and consistently scores above 10K in activity!
You are truly blessed!
The King loves the ocean H2O and warm climes.
End goal, live on a tropical island paradise with "Free Energy." Pure H2O drinking water with a lovely waterfall centered in the middle of the island along with a beautiful vegetable garden.
A nice healing volcanic hot-springs facing the leeward side of the island to relax the heart, mind and soul and soothe those bodily muscles.
Beautiful Macaws singing peacefully in the background and every once in awhile stopping by to perch on the King's shoulder to say hello and get their bellies scratched.
Just a start of my visualization.........
Speaking of house Kitty's and small pets.
The King used to have a family of crows/ravens who would protect the Kingdom's 3 pound Yorkshire Terrier (AKA Yorkie) whenever she ventured outdoors. (The King had commissioned the royal carpenter to build a door for his royal pet and she was able to roam about freely.) The crows/ravens would start screaming whenever a hawk and/or predator showed up. This racket would alert everyone to call out for "Sushi" and rush outside.
We attributed our "Protective" status from the crows/ravens to the following incident that occurred within the kingdom.
One day, the King returned home and was surprised to hear a fluttering of wings and screams arising from within his humble abode's chimney. After further investigating, he found, a baby crow/raven had fallen within the chimney and was attempting to get back outside by returning along the same path, up the chimney.
Of course, this effort was in vain as the baby crow/raven had finally given in from exhaustion. (no way of knowing how long it was trapped?) After some feeble and futile attempts of grabbing the baby, the King stopped and engaged the brain.
The end thought was to grab a small blanket and throw it over the baby. (the blankets that airlines offer in flight) After gaining control of the little one he released him/her to the outdoors.
And thereafter the King's 3 pound Yorkie had "protection".
Maybe, later the King will tell the story of the 3 pound Yorkie's defense of the kingdom's territory and the "Raccoon" encounter.
I'm glad Sushi had protection from predators, and it was awesome that you save the baby Raven! I am interested in hearing about the raccoon encounter!
Some people think animals are dumb, but I know better! They do think and have feelings as well! We just can't always understand them is all. Take care my friend and have a blessed evening!
