¡Hola amigos! espero que estén bien en el día de hoy. Quiero compartir con ustedes las historias de mis primeras plantas en mi hogar.

Un hogar sin plantas no es un hogar completo. A mi esposo y a mi nos gustan pero somos personas un poco ocupadas y debo confesar que también un poco olvidadizos jeje así que conversamos que si vamos a tener plantas en la casa deben ser de bajo mantenimiento.

Un día cuando visitaba a una amiga, me mostró su pequeño jardín y me dijo que tenía muchos cactus, que sin problemas me podía dar algunos. A lo que dije que sí con mucha emoción porque son muy lindos, crecen muy lento y son de bajo mantenimiento. Como son de mucho sol los dejé en la ventana, al parecer su tiempo de sol allí no era suficiente, así que después de un año ver a martes y jueves que no crecían pues decidí cambiarlas de lugar y a las semanas noté un cambio grande porque crecieron y se volvieron más gorditas.

¿Por qué sus nombres? Me pareció muy divertido darles nombres de la semana que no son tan famosos o pocos tomados en cuenta. Así que martes es la menos gordita y jueves es el más gordo por acercarse al fin de semana jajaja

Sábila/ aloe vera llegó a la casa por una amiga de la familia, porque nunca está demás tener una de ellas en casa por si uno se quema o se enferma, la sábila tiene propiedades curativas. La aceptamos por esa razón y porque también es de bajo mantenimiento. Lo que me sorprende de ella es que necesita bastante agua y se reproduce muy rápido. Como pueden ver en la segunda foto falta poco para transplantarlas a otra vasija.

Primera vez que soy responsable de unas plantas y la idea de tener un jardín me gusta, hasta el momento sigo con la idea de que sean de bajo mantenimiento porque van mucho con nuestro estilo de vida. Por los momentos estas son de sol y de media sombra. Me gustaría conocer alguna plantas que sean de sombra para que me acompañen dentro de la casa.

As they are very sunny I left them in the window, apparently their sun time there was not enough, so after a year of seeing them not growing on Tuesdays and Thursdays I decided to change their place and after a few weeks I noticed a big change because they grew and became fatter.

Why their names? I thought it was fun to give them names of the week that are not so famous or so little taken into account. So Tuesday is the least chubby and Thursday is the fattest for getting closer to the weekend hahaha.

Aloe vera came to the house from a family friend, because it never hurts to have one at home in case you get burned or sick, aloe vera has healing properties. We accepted it for that reason and because it is also low maintenance. What surprises me about it is that it needs a lot of water and it reproduces very fast. As you can see in the second photo we are about to transplant them to another pot.

First time that I am responsible for some plants and I like the idea of having a garden, so far I still have the idea that they are low maintenance because they go very much with our lifestyle. At the moment these are sun and half shade plants. I would like to know some shade plants to go with me inside the house.
