Hoy nos sentimos felices de estar a solo unas horas de cerrar este año 2025 qué para muchos se que no ha sido fácil, pero como cada año siempre nos deja momentos buenos y no tan buenos.
Today we feel happy to be just hours away from closing out 2025, a year that I know hasn't been easy for many, but like every year, it has left us with both good and not-so-good moments.
Para este día cuando ya faltaba pocas horas para despedir este año 2025, la familia de la esposa de mi hermano nos habían invitado a su cena de fin de año lo que ya es costumbre, ellos se organizan donde siempre se destacan haciendo una excelente comida.
On this day, with only a few hours left to say goodbye to 2025, my brother's wife's family had invited us to their New Year's Eve dinner, as is their custom. They always organize an excellent meal.
Ya tenemos algunos años recibiendo año nuevo juntos, lo que significa que ellos con mucho gusto nos reciben en su hogar. Mi hermano prepara el pernil, y entre ellos se comparten el trabajo de la cocina, donde ellos son expertos y cada comida les queda exquisita.
We've been celebrating New Year's together for several years now, which means they're always happy to welcome us into their home. My brother prepares the roast pork leg, and they share the cooking duties, where they're experts and every meal they make is delicious.
Llegamos a casa de los suegros de mi hermano un poco antes de las diez de la noche, ya ellos estaban reunidos y listo para recibir año nuevo. Nos sirvieron el plato navideño, el mismo se veía delicioso y así estaba.
We arrived at my brother's in-laws' house a little before ten o'clock at night. They were already gathered and ready to celebrate the New Year. They served us the Christmas dish, which looked delicious, and it was.
Luego de la cena levantamos las copas para más que pedir, agradecer a Dios por habernos permitido cerrar este años con muchas salud y nos haya permitido vivir estos 365 días felices, entre los presentes nos dirigimos hermosas palabras de agradecimiento pidiendo a Dios un año más de éxito y logros de muchas metas más.
After dinner, we raised our glasses not to make wishes, but to thank God for allowing us to end this year in good health and for letting us live these 365 happy days. Among those present, we exchanged beautiful words of gratitude, asking God for another year of success and the achievement of many more goals.
Una vez finalizada Nuetra cena y nuestro brindis nos quedamos a esperar el cañonazo el cual llego y todos con lágrimas en los ojos nos dimos un fuerte abrazo, lo más que puedo pedirle a Dios es que nos de mucha salud, sobretodo a mis padres y a mis hijos 🙏
Once our dinner and toast were over, we stayed to wait for the cannon shot, which arrived, and with tears in our eyes, we all gave each other a big hug. The most I can ask of God is that He gives us good health, especially my parents and my children 🙏
