Hola Chicos

Hoy quiero contarles sobre nuestro primer evento de ConVinArte en el que hemos estado trabajando todo el mes de marzo.

Mi amiga Estefania y yo teníamos en mente realizar un evento como este y dijimos ''Manos a la obra'' y comenzamos a preparar todo lo que necesitábamos.

En el proceso tuvimos varios inconvenientes, hasta una alerta de demanda por el nombre anterior del evento. Para evitar problemas nos vimos en la necesidad de crear el nombre ''ConVinArte''.

Los preparativos fueron bastante difíciles, tuvimos que pasar diferentes situaciones un poco incomodas, incluso yo me caí en una de esas diligencias que tuvimos que hacer.

En este post les escribiré la experiencia vivida en el evento ya que no pudimos capturar los momentos previos porque no tuvimos tiempo.

Today I want to tell you about our first ConVinArte event that we have been working on all March.

My friend Estefania and I had in mind to make an event like this and we said ''Let's get to work'' and started to prepare everything we needed.

In the process we had several inconveniences, even a lawsuit alert for the previous name of the event. To avoid problems we had to create the name ''ConVinArte''.

The preparations were quite difficult, we had to go through different situations a little uncomfortable, even I fell in one of those errands we had to do.

In this post I will write you the experience lived in the event since we could not capture the previous moments because we did not have time.

A las 2;40 p.m salimos a buscar a un amigo llamado Cesar que iba a estar realizando caricaturas en el evento y nos facilitaría el caballete que necesitábamos para exponer la obra que se iba a recrear.

Mi novio se tuvo que ir en transporte público porque en el carro de mi tía no cabía nadie más, llevábamos tantas cosas que no podíamos ni respirar.

Llegamos a recoger las cosas de Cesar y él tampoco se pudo ir con nosotros porque sinceramente no había espacio.

Después de recoger las cosas tomamos rumbo al Centro Comercial Costa Mall donde sería el evento. Llegamos y estaba cerrado, tuvimos que esperar que nos abrieran la puerta para poder ingresar las cosas y comenzar a acomodar todo.

Nos abrieron la puerta y comenzamos a meter todas las cosas y a acomodar sillas y mesas. El equipo del Centro Comercial nos ayudó mucho, cuando ya faltaba poco decidí ir a maquillarme para no estar mal arreglada cuando llegaran las personas.

At 2:40 p.m. we went to pick up a friend named Cesar who was going to be doing caricatures at the event and would provide us with the easel we needed to exhibit the work that was going to be recreated.

My boyfriend had to take public transportation because there was no room for anyone else in my aunt's car, we were carrying so much stuff that we couldn't even breathe.

We arrived to pick up Cesar's things and he couldn't go with us either because there was no room.

After picking up the stuff we headed to the Costa Mall where the event would be held. We arrived and it was closed, we had to wait for them to open the door so we could get our things in and start setting everything up.

They opened the door and we started to put everything in and set up chairs and tables. The Shopping Center staff helped us a lot, when we were close I decided to go and put on my make-up so that I wouldn't look bad when the people arrived.

Las personas comenzaron a llegar, Cesar ya tenía organizado su espacio y el saxofonista que nos acompañaría toda la noche también tenía su equipo instalado.

Comenzamos a servir los vinos y Estefania inició la clase. Teníamos muchos nervios y yo verdaderamente no quise hablar mucho pues hablar en público me da pánico, si tuve que hablar al micrófono pero fue algo muy breve.

Las personas comenzaron a trazar sus dibujos en los lienzos, nosotros repartíamos galletas y visitábamos el área de trabajo de cada uno para saber si necesitaban algo.

Yo no aguantaba la emoción en mi cuerpo pues todo estaba saliendo muy bien.

People began to arrive, Cesar had already organized his space and the saxophonist who would accompany us all night also had his equipment set up.

We began to pour the wines and Estefania started the class. We were very nervous and I didn't really want to talk too much because speaking in public makes me panic, I did have to speak into the microphone but it was very brief.

People began to draw their drawings on the canvases, we were handing out cookies and visiting everyone's work area to see if they needed anything.

I couldn't hold the excitement in my body as everything was going so well.

Agradecí por el equipo que me acompañó ese día, mi madre, Estefania, mi novio y Enrique. Un grupo pequeño de personas pero dispuestas a apoyarnos y a trabajar duro para ayudarnos a alcanzar nuestros objetivos.

Era momento de hacer el primer sorteo de la tarde, de la mano de Isabela estuvimos obsequiando una Gift Card que podría ser cambiada por un diseño de un flyer o una edición de fotos.

Enrique fue la mano inocente que realizó el sorteo, cuando sacó el papelito leímos el nombre en el y era Jhoselyn.

Ella estaba bastante feliz, nos tomamos las fotos correspondientes y ella se fue a continuar su pintura.

Después de esto Estefania se encargó de ir asiento por asiento para orientar a todos con sus dudas.

Varias personas se acercaban a indagar lo que estábamos haciendo y nosotras amablemente les explicábamos y casi todos se mostraban bien interesados en una segunda edición.

Nos alegramos muchísimo después de el evento porque además de las personas que se acercaron a preguntar muchas nos escribieron por redes sociales preguntando sobre próximas fechas y lamentando no haber asistido.

I was grateful for the team that accompanied me that day, my mother, Estefania, my boyfriend and Enrique. A small group of people but willing to support us and work hard to help us achieve our goals.

It was time for the first raffle of the afternoon, with Isabela's help we were giving away a Gift Card that could be exchanged for a flyer design or a photo edition.

Enrique was the innocent hand that made the drawing, when he pulled out the paper we read the name on it and it was Jhoselyn.

She was quite happy, we took the corresponding pictures and she left to continue her painting.

After that Estefania went seat by seat to guide everyone with their doubts.

Several people came to ask what we were doing and we kindly explained to them and almost everyone was very interested in a second edition.

We were very happy after the event because in addition to the people who came to ask many people wrote us on social networks asking about future dates and regretting not having attended.

Realizamos el sorteo de las caricaturas de Cesar y el decidió hacerlas en el mismo evento y fue bastante divertido verlas realizadas ya que eran idénticas a sus modelos jaja.

Después de 4 horas, las personas por fin terminaron sus cuadros y se fueron retirando una a una.

Nuestra emoción, orgullo y alegría no cabía en nuestro cuerpo. El ver terminado el evento en el que habíamos trabajado tanto nos llenó de mucha satisfacción.

ConVinArte fue todo un éxito antes, durante y después de realizarse.

Esperamos tener pronto una segunda edición.

We did the drawing for Cesar's caricatures and he decided to do them at the same event and it was quite fun to see them done since they were identical to his models haha.

After 4 hours, the people finally finished their paintings and left one by one.

Our excitement, pride and joy did not fit in our body. Seeing the event we had worked so hard on come to an end filled us with a lot of satisfaction.

ConVinArte was a success before, during and after the event.

We hope to have a second edition soon.
