Hidratando mi cabello después de la playa / Moisturizing my hair after the beach (SPA-ENG)

Hoy quiero contarles sobre el tratamiento de hidratación que realicé para recuperar un poco mi cabello.
Después de un largo día en la playa, bastante exposición al sol y al agua salada mi cabello se veía bastante mal.
Estaba reseco, opaco, enredado y como decimos coloquialmente ''tieso'' no tenía movimiento alguno.

Today I want to tell you about the moisturizing treatment I did to restore my hair.
After a long day at the beach, a lot of exposure to the sun and salt water my hair looked pretty bad.
It was dry, dull, tangled and as we say colloquially ''stiff'' it had no movement.
No podía dejar mi cabello así, me preocupaba que empeorara ya que tengo el cabello muy grueso y suele resecarse constantemente y esta exposición lo dañaría mucho más rápido.
Busqué entre mis cosas porque recordé que había visto días atrás una mascarilla capilar y encontré varias.
Entre las que vi seleccioné esta de aceite de argán pues consideré que le caería muy bien a mi cabello.
Estas mascarillas vienen con un sobre de aceite hidratante pero no lo apliqué, realmente estaba desesperada por bañarme y retirar toda la sal de mi cuerpo porque la insolación estaba acabando conmigo, de eso les hablaré en otro post.
I couldn't leave my hair like that, I was worried it would get worse as I have very thick hair and it tends to dry out constantly and this exposure would damage it much faster.
I looked through my things because I remembered that I had seen a hair mask a few days ago and I found several.
Among the ones I saw, I selected this one with argan oil because I thought it would be good for my hair.
These masks come with a sachet of moisturizing oil but I didn't apply it, I was really desperate to take a bath and remove all the salt from my body because the sunstroke was killing me, I will tell you about that in another post.
Entré a la ducha y mojé mi cuerpo y mi cabello.
Decidí dejar que el agua cayera un buen rato para retirar completamente toda el agua salada y cualquier resto de arena que existiera en mi pelo.
Luego de mojarlo, apliqué shampoo. En estos momentos estoy usando el shampoo Head And Shoulders. No es mi favorito realmente, pero fue una compra rápida y no me gusta desperdiciar los productos así que tengo que usarlo hasta que se agote.
Lavé mi cabello con el shampoo luego enjuagué. Repetí esto 3 veces porque quería asegurarme de que estuviera bien limpio.
I stepped into the shower and wet my body and hair.
I decided to let the water run for a while to completely remove all the salt water and any sand in my hair.
After wetting it, I applied shampoo. I'm currently using Head And Shoulders shampoo. It's not my favorite really, but it was a quick purchase and I don't like to waste products so I have to use it until it runs out.
I washed my hair with the shampoo then rinsed. I repeated this 3 times because I wanted to make sure it was nice and clean.
Luego de lavar mi cabello apliqué la mascarilla, es bastante espesa y huele delicioso.
Comencé a aplicarlo de medios a puntas, dejando más producto en esta parte.
Nunca lo aplico muy cerca de la raíz para evitar que mi cabello quede muy grasoso, pero, por esta vez apliqué lo que quedó en mis manos en la raíz para hidratarla también.
Esta mascarilla indica en la parte de atrás que con 7 minutos de aplicación es suficiente pero yo la dejé casi 15 minutos.
El nombre de esta mascarilla es Nature Spirit.
After washing my hair I applied the mask, it is quite thick and smells delicious.
I started applying it from the middle to the ends, leaving more product in this part.
I never apply it too close to the roots to prevent my hair from getting too greasy, but, this time I applied what was left on my hands to the roots to moisturize them as well.
This mask indicates on the back that 7 minutes of application is enough but I left it on for almost 15 minutes.
The name of this mask is Nature Spirit.
Pasados los 15 minutos enjuagué la mascarilla, mi cabello se desenredó casi completamente, se sentía súper suave.
Al salir de la ducha sequé el exceso de agua con una toalla y deje que se terminara de secar solo.
Y así se ve mi cabello hoy, aún falta hidratación pero se ve bastante bien.

After 15 minutes I rinsed out the mask, my hair was almost completely detangled, it felt super soft.
When I got out of the shower I towel dried the excess water out and let it finish drying on its own.
And this is how my hair looks today, it still lacks moisture but it looks pretty good.
