Hello friends of Hive, I want to participate in the Deranged Photography Contest, which this time is about flowers, in the amateur category, with these very beautiful photos that I took of an orchid flower adorned by the rain dew and its intense color.

Hola amigos de Hive, quiero hacer mi participación en el Deranged Photography Contest, que en esta oportunidad es sobre flores, en la categoría aficionado, con estas fotos muy lindas que tomé de una orquídea adornada por el rocío de la lluvia y su intenso color.

This magnificent beautiful flower is nothing more and nothing less than the national flower of my country Venezuela since 1951, it is scientifically known as "Cattleya Mossiae" and it is known colloquially as "May Flower", its wavy lines simulate the shape of the female body and for this reason in my country it is considered a symbol of femininity and beauty.

Esta flor magnifica por su belleza es nada mas y nada menos que la flor nacional de mi país Venezuela desde el año 1951, se le conoce científicamente como “Cattleya Mossiae” y se le conoce coloquialmente como “Flor de mayo”, sus líneas onduladas simulan la forma del cuerpo femenino y por esta razón en mi país es considerada como un símbolo de la feminidad y la belleza.

There are about 30,000 species and 800 genera of it, a wide variety of shapes and colors, although the color of the one you see in the photos predominates, it grows between 800 and 1,500 meters above sea level and is native of South America.

Existen unas 30.000 especies y 800 géneros de la misma, una amplia variedad de formas y colores, aunque predomina el color de la que observan en las fotos, esta crece entre los 800 y 1.500 metros sobre el nivel del mar y es nativa de América del sur.

I really liked the staging of this flower because the picture's taken during the rainy season and with the humid environment you can see that the frame is also adorned by a set of small sprouts of what seem to be algae on the wall making it a very natural setting in which this beautiful flower grows.

Me agradó muchísimo la puesta en escena de esta flor ya que por la época de lluvias y ambiente húmedo se puede observar que el marco está además adornado por un conjunto de pequeños brotes de lo que parecen ser algas sobre la pared que le dan un matiz muy natural al escenario en el que crece esta hermosa flor.
