Hey dear community, first of all I would like to welcome you all to my new post and hope you are all well! Today I would like to share something about the ecological benefits of a plant and hope you can expand your knowledge a little.

Here you can see the wonderful flowers of the apple, which are also known under the scientific name malus and in addition to its use as a fruit, it is also of great importance for insects and other living beings. Since apple trees do not fertilize themselves, they need insects as help and here bees or bumblebees come as called and if additional pollination come into play, you can even expect an even higher yield in this way, which can often be twice as high and the plant also produces more active ingredients as well as larger fruits. The ever-growing extinction of species among insects also has more and more to follow that fruit growers suffer from it and it is also important to maintain the biodiversity of the apples and if the origins of the plants die out, an important basis is missing for breeding new varieties. Due to the growth, different species of birds find their place in the apple tree and if the fruits are overripe, they can fall to the ground and they don't have to be disposed of immediately because they offer an important source of food for many animals and insects and all kinds of species gather around it and if you want to do something for nature, you can leave the fruit on the ground for a while. At the flowers you will find numerous different species of insects such as butterflies, caterpillars, hoverflies and more and some species of wild bees have also specialized on these flowers which are becoming increasingly rare and are threatened with extinction.
