Solve et Coagula

It is one of the most important principles in alchemy and means as much as dissolve and coagulate and there are various principles in alchemy where the topic is of great importance and it has influenced the spiritual as well as the practice of the alchemy and often this principle is also associated with the occult side of alchemy. The core of this principle is relatively easy to understand and means that you first have to separate or solve something in order to add it strengthened again for a better result and a good example is the spiritual side which is strongly connected with the awakening and to reach enlightenment you first have to go through different stages. It can also be interpreted in such a way that you first have to separate the deep inside of us in order to analyze it and then add it back to a whole and in old cultures similar views appear again and again that mean the same thing at the core. In alchemy, the most important principles is the view of the whole and this understanding is a relief when it comes to the understanding and in the practice of alchemy it is important to first separate the substances to analyze them and after the various work steps have been carried out, the completed substance can be added to the whole again in a better condition. The way of working in alchemy is usually based on this principle and the importance of this is reflected in numerous alchemical works of art or writings.
