Good day dear community, at the beginning I would like to welcome you all to my new post and hope you were able to have a day that has been full of positive experiences! In this post, I would like to go into something like nature and introduce a new plant and hope you can expand your knowledge.

You can see here these pictures of the Pasque flower which is also known under the scientific name Pulsatilla and has been known since ancient times and can be found in Europe or Asia and unfortunately, it has become increasingly rare and is even protected in some places. In ancient cultures it was revered as a magical plant and also in Greek mythology there is an interesting legend that says that it originated from the drops of blood of Adonis who was killed by a boar during the hunt and from the tears of Aphrodite who mourned around him, this flower was created which is supposed to remind him with its delicate appearance. In the past it has also gained an important meaning as a medicinal plant and here too it was already mentioned in ancient Greece and already Hippocrates who is also referred to as the father of medicine mentioned Pulsatilla in his writings and also in the Middle Ages it appears in ancient writings but it is important to mention here that it is a poisonous plant and is only medically effective in low doses and in today's medicine, it is mainly used in ready-made preparations or diluted as a tincture. As always, I would like to mention here that in case of illness, you should always ask your doctor or pharmacist about the correct use and possible side effects to avoid complications! Due to the early flowering period and the high value of pollen and nectar, it is also very valuable from an ecological point of view and is particularly often visited by bees or other insects and it is also considered relatively easy to care for and since the stocks are decreasing and more and it can be very worthwhile to cultivate the plant to support biodiversity and in addition, you decorate your location with this wonderful-looking miracles of nature.
