Monomad - Lion Artwork

Hello dear Hiveans and friends of art, I would like to welcome you to my new post in which I would like to present black and white pictures for the new round of the #monomad challenge. Have fun watching and hopefully you like my pictures and these works of art.

A slightly different decoration of a bench can be seen here, although it is supposed to present a lion. In addition to the pictures, I would like to go into the general symbolism and mythology of the lion. As an ancient heraldic animal, it may have been noticed by one or the other and the lion symbolizes the king of animals and is also a sign of courage and has also been a symbol of strength or determination since ancient times.

In Greek mythology, he appears as an immortal animal that roared around in the forests and had the name Nemean Lion, he lived in the Nemea area with which the name is associated. In ancient Egypt, the king was often portrayed as a lion and there is a god named Maahes who is also known as the war god and was very feared.

There is also a constellation that is linked to the lion and is nicknamed Leo, it is especially present in the spring sky. The lion is also known from a spiritual point of view and has different meanings in many cultures and the best known is probably the inner strength and self-confidence.
