Interesting Facts about Veronica

Hey dear community, first of all I would like to welcome you all to my new post and hope you were able to have some interesting experiences! In this post, I would like to talk a little about a plant and hope you are able to expand your knowledge.

Here you can see some pictures of common speedwell which is also known under the scientific name Veronica and there are various interpretations about the origin, but this is not fully clarified. As a typical early bloomer, it offers some insects an important source of food and is extremely valuable from an ecological point of view and especially often you can see bees, bumblebees or butterflies visiting the flowers and preferably this perennial and easy-care plant prefers a sunny location. During the warmer days, you should make sure to provide it with water regularly and otherwise it is considered relatively grateful and it is best to start giving nutrients early in the year to ensure stable growth and here long-term fertilizers are a perfect choice. In old cultures, Veronica was considered a magical plant and there were interpretations that it could protect against negative influences and it was considered a kind of oracle with which it was possible to predict things and it was also often associated with love spells. Already from old writings the importance of this plant emerges when it comes to the healing properties and in the Middle Ages it was used in many ways for external as well as internal complications and it can have a positive effect on the metabolism and has a blood-purifying effect and was mentioned by some scholars because of the diverse properties.
