Impressions from the forest
I thought today I will visit the forest. It was a very warm day here, over 30 °C, and on such warm days, the forest is perfect for cooling off. The air is so pleasant being surrounded by lots of plants and trees. On the path I saw a snake and I also took a few photos of the area and some plants which I would like to share.
The environment in this forest is great for a walk. It's not such a dark forest and there are many clearings as well as a lot of silence, a perfect place to switch off.
This snake was pretty shy and quickly left when I wanted to take a close-up. I was still able to photograph it from a little distance. This is the snake called grass snake (Natrix natrix).
I also saw a wildly growing columbine (Aquilegia) next to the path. Columbines are mainly found in the northern hemisphere of our planet.
In the following picture you can see the plant with the name fern (Tracheophyta). They are extremely important plants for photosynthesis and are therefore great for our climate.
Here you can see a tree called copper beech or scientifically Fagus sylvatica. The rich colors of the leaves are enchanting.
I hope you enjoyed my post!
