Recently I used the clear weather and took some pictures of the full moon and I would like to use them to go into more detail about the effect of the moon on sleep behavior. It is known that the moon increases the feelings and during the full moon some people have strong problems falling asleep and there are some studies on this topic in which it has been found that the brain activity changes and to measure this topic some subjects have gone to a sleep laboratory and especially during the full moon the participants have had a harder time falling asleep and the sleep duration has changed. Interesting is also the effect of the pineal gland, which is responsible for the production of the hormone melatonin and it was measured that these values fell drastically, which meant that the sleep-wake cycle rhythm was greatly influenced. However, it must be said that these studies are often not clear enough because in order to get better measurements you have to examine the subject for several weeks and often the influence of stress or other factors is associated with this phenomenon and during the full moon the stress often increases, which in turn can lead to the sleep behavior being influenced by it. Often the moonlight is also considered as a trigger, which shimmers through the window and it can also be that this behavior is linked to the thought pattern of the subconscious and we generally sleep poorly at this time and the sleep behavior is influenced by the power of the thoughts and who wants to learn more about the power of the connections with the subconscious will find a contribution here. It can be roughly said that it is a controversial topic and there is too little evidence for this topic and also the studies are not quite clear that you cannot say exactly how the moon affects sleep behavior in reality.
