Megan was excited. She had shopped like a billionaire and just a few days after making the payment, her package had arrived. With trembling fingers she tore open the box expecting to see her brand new inflatable couch but instead she found…a cushion.
She turned it over and found a picture of a couch printed on it. And on the couch was a cushion with a picture of a couch on it. The deception probably went on into infinity, a fractal of lies with no real end.
She shook her head and huffed. It was her own damned fault, nobody sells couches that cheaply, even if they are inflatable! Still, that seller had played a pretty dirty trick. She vowed then and there that her next billionaire adjacent purchase would have no potential for trickery whatsoever.
I wonder how many people fall for those types of listings? Seems like a good way to earn a bad reputation.
