My unsolicited opinion on mentalhealth

(Edited)

Mental health has always worried me.
For me, my family background and for those who love me.
Although I am not competent, understanding how we think, act and react emotionally is essential in the individual, the family, even for the social environment.

Even more so with the COVID-19 pandemic.

The limitations imposed by isolation,
estrangement,
the lack of physical and social contact in our everyday environments,
It has affected our emotions and behavior.

The health emergency is no longer limited to contagion,
also today the consequences or sequels of confinement are added:
sadness,
depression,
go to,
frustration,
anxiety,
are some of the best known and manifested.

I have resorted to extraordinary resources,
that is, unusual, to deal with stress.
learn to meditate,
do different recreational activities,
avoid the abuse of screens and social networks (! What an irony!),
recognize myself.
The latter is perhaps the most difficult.

This is the new challenge to face, along with the pandemic, to stay emotionally stable, take care of yourself, to be able to care for those who need you, move forward and not lose hope.

Watch your emotions

Perhaps you have found yourself upset, with unusual anger or sadness. At times when you were usually fine. These mood swings have a reason, as well as a solution.
The principle is to accept them, recognize them and detect what gives rise to them. One way to better detail them is by taking note of your expressions, when they occur and what you felt.

get distracted

Distract myself with this situation? Yes, because you deserve it.
Remember those things that make you happy:
dance,
sings,
kitchen,
read,
take care of a plant,
play sports or exercise.

Talks

We are distant, not alone.
Call, write, send and share voice notes, keep in touch, talk about your feelings and everyday life. There will always be someone who listens to you and makes you feel better.

thanks

Take a moment at the end of the day to find the good, the lesson of what you experienced and be thankful for all the good things that happened to you and for all the bad things that left a lesson in you.

feed yourself

Eat well, pamper your palate, your taste and body. Nothing better to give rise to well-being than eating healthy, with habits, on time and tasty.

Mistress

Be kind, with yourself, with others, with your surroundings. Take care of your thoughts, your body, your personal image, your communication and the spaces you share at home and at work. Maintain order, cleanliness and harmony.

Header 2Rest

Build a rest routine, in addition to sleeping, rest your mind and body. Remember that stress does not require a stimulus to activate the reflex. It keeps you on alert involuntarily. So you should rest, even if you feel you don't need it.
